We have one FFP breach. Man City has over 100 breaches. Now let's see how fairly this all plays out.

Funny thing:- when Everton were at the peak of their powers in the mid 80s, their keeper, Neville Southall, used to cycle from Llandudno in Wales to Liverpool every day for training.

He doesn't do that anymore. I have sources.

I have to say there was a bit too much noise about Everton's case for my liking.....

He just kept eating as if he was :emoji_bicyclist:

Ive seen it happen more than thrice, its def the danger of mad cardio regimes whether competitive swimmer, cyclist or even just doing an insanely active job. The job/training stops by itself but the habit of what you eat takes conscious effort to shift. 12 months later you're rolling down the pavement without a bike....

That's what happened to me. Came out of construction with a 3500kcal a day habit and no outlay.

I did 10k running tonight just to avoid our Nevs fate. Running on Fulham Palace Road (approaching junction with Fulham Road) I heard this loud screech. The park is usually full of fucking weedheads so I just discounted it plus I was jaded. Get to the jxn at Fulham Road and there's this bus pulled up, hazards on, two bags in the street and this fully headscarved bird in a heap right under the driver's door roaring "that's assault, assault you bastard".....carried on down the road towards Putney Bridge and there's an unmarked cop car screaming up the hill towards the bus, lights flashing. Pretty standard evening around here..

10k is a hell of a long distance. It gets you from Mortlake Cemetery to Kew Bridge, past the GTECH Stadium ( Brentford) and Chiswick high street all the way down to Hammersmith, past Hammersmith Apollo ( (Ed Sheeran in town, more madness) down the Palace road all the way up to Putney Bridge.

I used to walk that at 5.0km/h and thought I was making mad waves :Jest:

I am pretty sure I am under 200 lbs for the first time since I was 35. But the plumber broke my scale so I can't confirm it. I had gotten down from 214 to 201 & still losing weight when this goofy mothefucker broke my scale.

I only drink once a week. No I cut out all carbonated drinks and eating healthier and walking a lot (fuck running.)

I'd like to say I took the initiative but after COVID, I had a (unrelated) health scare. It scared me into eating healthier. I had already started walking last September and I has already lost weight (I was a lifetime high 242 in July, 2021.

I don't really have a goal other than to not die. But shedding the weight is one positive because the last six weeks have been SHITE. I'm still seeing doctors and doing tests.

Don't take this the wrong way but people with a "weight problem" are never cured. You only ever have it "under control" . I'm speaking from experience. My problem now is knowing this and not over training as a result.

I know. Right now that’s the least of my worries. I am happy to be 40+ lbs lighter than I was 20 months ago. And I'm pleased with the discipline I have had since all this started. Today is a big day. My third and hopefully last trip to the cardiologist. All my tests have been negative so far. I get results from the last one today. The longer this has gone on, it's become clear that this is not a heart issue and that takes a world of stress off me.

    Negstive for what? Heart?

If i was as heartless as you id say them fucking vaccines have done you an injury.

But i do express condolences.... Ill health is a curse. Health is wealth.

Its an amazing feeling to just know you can get up and go out and be yourself and work and travel in comfort.

If you feel like relapsing, just remember how far you've come, 40lbs is a hell of a long journey.

I took tonight off to prevent any injury because I'm not used to running on tarmac.

Remember to rest. Rest is key.

    1. Get your sleep first. That will make number 2 easier.

2.Improve your diet 2nd. That will feed into number 3:-

    3. Cut your calories, 3rd. That will reduce the urgency of 4:-

    4. Exercise 4th.

You should retreat from that regimen in reverse order in other words if you have to choose between a 2 hour walk and 5 hours sleep, get 7 hours sleep instead.

Sleep more and eat less to make the need for exercise less pressing.

Its rare you'll pull a Perfect 4 every day. The days i struggle are the days I've not slept well the night before.

Strange comment aside, people are way more likely to get heart problems after having COVID than after the vaccine. Turn off that QAnon bullshit.

But yes, all of my heart tests (two EKGs, a chest X-ray and a nuclear stress test) all came back normal. They had to make sure but it's not my heart.

It looks like Man City won't have Haaland or Foden on Saturday. But LFC have a few injuries as well including Diaz & Nunez.

I had some major bamstation under the window making farmyard noises at passers by for four hours last night. Eventually im like, 'ive got to see what this scene actually looks like' so i labouriously shift the dozen odd fecking plantpots off the window cill, lean out, peer down. Older guy, bald &, to my surprise, not sitting over a paper cup but fully upright albeit teetering to and fro. At the moment i stick my head out a younger guy is shouting back at him - random fight? Nah, turned out to be his son

'Da, im trying to help ye here. Come on hame'
    'Wghyrfhtdf fucking ftyht5edyuibd'
'Da, forfucks sake, im trying to help ye. Come with me'
'Wthhtdcttjfrt fucking....tfrtvvy you just waant that 17 quid htdftrdgutdf fuck off ya cunt!'

    Yeash, bleak.

While it would be nice to see City lose to anybody i'd much rather see them beat Liverpool at this stage than Bayern. Keep their hands of the CL trophy for as long as possible.

Napoli are nearly 20 points ahead. I think at this point it would be surprising if they don't win it. Conversely BVB have a one point lead. They aren't going to be able to hold on.

Napoli would have to replace their whole squad with a bunch of special needs kids to lose Serie A.

It's broadly immaterial to me, I can and do find it entertaining, but I was watching the "Chelsea" Vs "Olympic Lyon" game and there was a late penalty call that was so obviously bullshit that I just laughed my ass off at it.
