If it's GAA you mean, no interest in football, lost interest in hurling since one of the teams has been greatly bankrolled by a tax exile...

I'd no idea regards McManus but you can't blame me for not being able to keep up with every instance of shitehousery that goes on.

Sat down with my father for the first time in 9 years and he told me they're asking £5.75 per coffee, seated, at some shithole in Wicklow town.

    Not my Manor any more.

Bad bad look, reinforces notion that football is a closed society where the same old boys keep getting the same breaks.

Not only is Lampard a failure, he's a failure at the very place he's just been rehired by.

Renard clearly bats for the other team, I'm sure it's been asked so many times before but why the prevalence of lesbians so high at highest level of women's sports, must be some physiological basis..

They're better at football than other women because they're less womanly. Pretty much it. It's ironic, to excel at women's football, be less woman.

It also shows that Boehly had no plan in place when he gave Potter the axe. He reinforces every negative stereotype about an American that knows fuck all about football. His plan is to throw around millions of pounds and then tell somebody to "make it work."

Is Chelsea an attractive job at this point? Overloaded with 31 players, most very wealthy with huge egos. A relatively new group of players about to play for their fourth manager this season (counting Bruno.)

Compare that with Man City. They've carried 23 first team players most of the season. All with clear roles on the team.

BTW, Lampard was the worst manager Everton have had since I have been a fan. He was given a lot of slack because of who he is and who he took over from but he was just plain awful. No game plan, no clear style. Dyche looks like a psychic mastermind in comparison.

You gotta imagine both sides are clear that Lampard's a placeholder until the summer. Come hold the fort until we get this tricky Nagelsmann deal ironed out...maybe if you do really well it'll convince Stoke City you're worth a punt next year

If i was an ex-pro like Lampard I'd stick to coaching. He'd have a job for life at Chelsea in the backroom staff, laying out cones, drawing on whiteboards, shaking hands at charity dinners, a legend forever. Fuck management it'll turn your pubes white in 3 months flat

You're right. That whole philosophy of hiring a guy to sort things out and make it click is so very American.

"That's why I brought you in" philosophy.

I that's 90% of it. Most of them have egos too big for a back room job. They want power and attention.

The other 10% is simply money. They're so used to making 20/50/100 grand a week and even though they don't need a nickel more to live happily ever after they just can't handle seeing those small cheques a lesser role would provide.

Some of them are real. Moyes is real. He's a genuine believer and wants to be in the trenches.

Others like Lampard are pure fuckin Charlie's

Flew out of Dublin this am and a geezer and his wife squeezed into the middle and window seats before me. A real old Dubliner sort, replete with jacket, shirt, brylcreamed hair, miraculous medal and Irish Mirror which he immediately turned to the sports pages, soccer and gaa.

Airplane is taxiing about and suddenly we get that surge where the pilot gives her the beans.

Your man beside me leans back closes his eyes clasps his hands and does that little uniquely Irish blessing which mostly involves stabbing yourself in the chest with three fingers of one hand.

He did it again when we landed.

In between he ordered a cup of tay and a Heineken for his missus. 9 quid. Even at 30,000 feet they rip you off fierce.

The closer he got to God the more it cost :Jest:

They rip you off more than anywhere else because they can. What are you going to do, go to the airplane next door?

Nor can you pull out that flask you had strapped to your balls. His wife drank the beer so who knows maybe he was some sort of a religious teetotaller abstentionist.

I've lost so much weight but was still using my old cargo pants. I like some roomy pants for travel.

Sailed into Dublin so that was totally civilised.

Flying out I'm in the airport and there's this fucking blonde Karen on the security. My belt comes off and there's no way my pants are flying solo. Just no way.

I've got to fold them over like a girl fold's a man's shirt when she wears it. Had to drop all my coins and keys and smart watch too so I'm trying to reload all that back into my pants and keep them up. My mother had given me loads of coins "for a machine" or "you might need them" so I'm reloading them with one hand cos the other hand is in my pocket doing anti-gravity work.

Some Nigerian guy was walking around with his t shirt off and his pants open hands in the air turning around in a circle as they tried to find the bit of metal that was setting the machine off.

I had to put my belt back on like a gunslinger until I got into the toilets to put it back through the loops.

    Fucking shitholes, airports.

€4.95 in Starbucks for a coffee. Couldn't see anything else on offer.

    Glad to be back.

I finally got my scale working again. I hadn't been under 200 lbs since 2007. I am 193 today. I see my GP today. They still don't know what's wrong with me. From the 10,000 things I have googled, I think I have a hiatal hernia that is big enough to require surgery. Until then, I'm on a diet of cereal, oat porridge (oatmeal), soup, bananas, Greek yogurt, vegetables, and an occasional veggie burger. And tons of water.

What is that, about 8 millions dollars minus 2 grand if you have insurance?
