I haven't been really following boxing lately...Did Tank fight anyone with a world class chin? He seems like a low output power counter puncher... someone with a chin should probably just press him... eat those cute left hand counters once in a while and simply outwork him..

Yeah, that KD seemed to make him extra cautious. He seemed to be reacting to every feint, and backing up from all the shots instead of looking to counter.

I think the difference is that when DLH went down against Hopkins he was obviously in agony and didn’t seem like he could get up - there didn’t seem to be any internal decision making going on.

When Garcia went down, he’d already taken about three seconds to decide that he’d go down - he made a conscious choice not to continue. He could have continued but decided not to so he definitely quit.

Amir Khan never quit. He'd still be in there wobbling about lighting Tank up.

It's super simple - Tank is a fighter and can punch on.

    Garcia is a leap amateur.

Garcia is, unfortunately, one face of modernity. Davis, unfortunately, is the other.

It takes the ten count on its knee. It does this or it gets tapped downstairs again.

Tank is being compared to the all time great lightweights now and his fans are saying he’d easily KO Shakur and Devin.

This was another reason I so wanted Ryan to end the hype train.

Boxing needs a new Floyd. Floyds done. Canelos done, or nearly done.

So they need a new thing.

Tank won't take those fights, and they will use the 'credit in the bank' from taking this one to avoid getting in the ring with a top fighter for as long as possible.

I really thought Garcia had more in him, and when he got up from the uppercut I thougth it spelled good for the rest of the fight. Finally, he froze for about 2 rounds and tried a little bit more (with some success) and pretty much quit. What a disappointment this guy is…

He wanted out. Don't focus on the "body shot", focus on the stream of blood from his nose. He knew what was going down. He can go back to punching Jake Paul in the balls now.
