Worst stoppages you’ve seen in boxing

After that fiasco that was Rolly vs Barroso what are some other awful referee or corner stoppages?

 

Calz haf a few terrible ones, but at least in was in fights he was dominating

 

Hard to think of a worse one than last night's. Weeks is definitely dirty.

 

The Jazzerciser Calzaghe with the most brutal stoppage of our times

 

Tyson-Ruddock wasn't one of the worst of all time or anything but it was pretty bad especially considering Razor did very well in the previous round.

The upside is we got a rematch which is an underrated fight between heavyweight bombers.

 

Tua Rahman 1. Ref was out to get Rah HUGE left hook after the bell... Tua not penalized.. Rah not given time to recover... then next round super early stoppage was the icing on the cake

 

It was certainly too quick IMO

I also didn’t care for the stoppage in Morrison-Ruddock

 

That was also a terrible stoppage

 

Morrison-Ruddock stoppage sucked, but in the ref's defense, it might not have been as clear cut in real time especially after Ruddock got dropped badly with that huge left hook (weird how quickly he recovered though).

 

Dokes Weaver 1 was an abomination

 

Holmes-Snipes was pretty bad, but Snipes was starting to get beat up..

 

If Rudduck stays down that would have been one of the best KO's of all time

 

They had an immediate rematch and Maccarinelli won KO11
