Close fight. Honestly I didn't score it but I thought Loma was slightly ahead but the judges didn't see it that way. Love to see Shakur vs Haney. Very close fight imo. Haney is a bit underrated he is better than I thought.

Well, the Tank fight isn't gonna happen.

I think the plan now will be for Haney to face the Fimo-Taylor winner.

Valdez didn't learn anything from his last fight vs Shakur. He's just a flat footed clubber. Just a stupid style.

How ironic. Loma's career defining win is over a man two weight classes smaller than him.

Loma is a great fighter, and a HOFmer for sure. As everyone knows, there's levels of great.

I simply took exception to people (fans and media) continually comparing him to Mayweather, Duran, Jones, Ali, Pac, Whitaker, ect., because he's nowhere near that level and never was.

The 130 Floyd would have kicked Loma's ass all over the ring. The 130 Pac would have fucked him up very horribly.

I'll have to rewatch it, but I suspect I'd have it a draw. 8-4 Haney was indeed bullshit. Haney looked on his way to 8-4 at one point, but he badly faded.

Based on tonight, I would have to believe that a Fimo who uses 100% of his talent and skill would waste Dev. We'll find out in 3 weeks if Fimo can put that talent/skill together.

Yeah this sums it up, was really hard to score and in a couple of rounds were a coin flip. Haney's bodywork was telling, but Loma did beat Haney up a bit.

I'd love to see a rematch really, was an enjoyably skilled fight.

It was a good fight overall and I’m happy it lived up to the hype. Although I thought Loma edged it Im just glad we finally got to see the best fighting the best and actually putting on an entertaining show. The fight ended up being as advertised: a solid technical chess match.

I would love to see a rematch, Loma deserves another shot.

I think after what we saw I’m more convinced that Tank and Shakur beats Haney quite clearly. Loma’s left hand was consistently landing on Haney, imagine if Tank finds home with his left hand. Shakur would also be able to confuse Haney with his movement and beat him to the punch.

You know whats funny.... I can remember a lot of times Loma caught Haney with head shots but I can barely remember Haney catching Loma with head shots. The check hook landed a couple of times but he wasn't getting a jab off and was primarily landing rights to the body.

I still thought the fight was close. I can see Haney winning. Two judges had him 5-2 up after the first 7 rounds. It sounds off but I can see it. Some of the rounds just felt too close to have a decisive winner. Loma won his rounds way more clearly and authoritatively.

I’m on the same boat. I never bought Loma as being this P4P 1 guy for a second, but I recognize his talents and he’s a definite future HOF fighter.

If Haney won, it's because his consistent rights to the body hurt Loma enough to slow him in the last round in particular.

If Loma won, it's because he's a midget who consistently punched a vastly bigger Haney in the face, wobbling him in one round.

Name one non-American fighter who EVER got the decision in a "close" fight with a big American name fighter that was hooked into the system?

Kovalev didn't get it. Sturm didn't get it. Schulz didn't get it. Lonachenko (twice) didn't get it.

    Fucking endless.

I don't give a fuck who won.... The States hallmark is flexing the bullshit right in your fucking face.

Euginia Williams giving the 5th round to Holyfield. This 8-4 bullshit.

They'll rob you and tell you they robbed you and tell you that you're a thief.

    In your grille.

Lol I think I might be getting crazy but I liked the over the edge drama by the commentators. Everytime there's a brutal ko, they should go over the top about how he could be seriously injured or worse. Brutal ko in any way though
