I was in Leytonstone and White City today. White City was surprisingly pleasant all the way down to Hammersmith.

Shepherds Bush is a proper fucking toilet though.

Haha, I'm kidding, but Uxbridge Road is indeed a bit dodgy and grimy. Weirdly though it has some excellent pubs and restaurants so it kinda balances out. Best place to go in Shepherd's Bush if you get the chance is Askew Road, a bit of a hidden gem.
