The boxing genius Punsh Drunk said that Teo would have "dog walked" Tim Bradley. Do you agree? Cause I think 140 Bradley would have kicked Teo's ass all over the ring.
Bradley all the way. He managed to make it close woth pac. I dont think theo is nesrly as good as a slightly pas it pac
Bradley was too dynamic IMO. What he lacked in power he made up for with his other attributes which IMO would be too much for Teo. I think Bradley’s activity, work rate, good chin/hard head, would be too much round by round. Bradley via UD.
Bradley’s more versatile style, higher ring IQ, and pitbull like mentality gives him the edge over Teo. I think Bradley outboxes and outfights Teo after an interesting first 4 rounds.
Bradley beat an aging Marquez who he had a huge edge on stylistically and footspeed wise. that was the top win of his career. interesting how everyone shitted on bradley for getting a gift in the first pacquiao fight and now its some sort of feather in his cap that he kept it semi close, among those in this topic claiming he beats lopez. other than that, who has bradley defeated that is as talented as Lopez?
While REED Respects Tim Bradley's Career, Dude DEFINITELY Benefitted from Being a Current Day Top Rank BROADCASTER, In Terms of Hall of Fame Induction... And w/That, the Perception of WHO Tim Bradley Was as a Fighter Has Been ENHANCED... REED's Inclined to Pick 'Fimo Over Bradley @ '40, as Well... REED
Bradley vs Pac wasn't close in the slightest IMO. Pacquiao won virtually every round. The only slightly impressive thing about that fight in Bradley's case is that he didn't get knocked out.
agREED... In Fact, Pacquiao was SABOTAGED By His Promoter In the 1st Bradley Fight, 'Pac's LAST Fight Under That Particular Top Rank Contract...Same Shit Happened in Pacquiao-Horn, 'Pac's LAST Fight Under That Particular Top Rank Contract, As Well... All Anyone Has to Do is Listen to the AWE in Bradley's Voice, When he Speaks of Pacquiao...Deeeeeeep Down, He KNOWS He Got a Gift That Night... REED
I think whats more forgotten about Bradley's career is that Provo was one round away from stopping him. Bradley was totally out on his feet by the end of that fight. In the 15 round era, Provo 110% scores a stoppage in that fight.
That's the feeling I get as well. Bradley isn't gonna shell up like Josh, and he could close the distance a lot quicker than Josh.
GTFOH! Bradley would have beaten the Hell outta Josh. I don't think Taylor beats Alexander, nevermind Bradley.
Just answered. Alexander. And he dominated Peterson, as well as Witter at a time when Witter was highly regarded. Is Josh even a lock over Peterson? I don't think so. The more important question is the opposite - who has Josh ever beaten on Bradley's level? Please don't say Regis! I like Regis a lot, but no... he isn't on Bradley's level.
Yes you were. I specifically remember you being very high on Bradley and Alexander 12 years ago. Don't try to rewrite history to prop up Fimo. Alexander has a 12-0 win over Maidana, which far surpasses any Prograis win. Bradley is way too multidimensional and dynamic for an extremely basic fighter like Josh.
I like Bradley better than Taylor. Nice guy who helped me out before. I just don't think he'd beat him Never thought much of Alexander. He did well against aggressive fighters not skilled guys like Taylor
The closest Josh has ever faced to a slick southpaw is Jack Catt, who with all due respect, is domestic level. The circa 09-10 Alexander would outbox Josh. Like I said, Josh is too basic for Bradley. He doesn't have the power to get Bradley out, and he certainly wouldn't outlast Bradley in a tear up. Tim was a good deal quicker than Josh, but most importantly, Bradley's ring IQ was miles higher than Josh's. Tim could adjust midfight - Taylor cannot. We've seen him look lost in there two fights in a row now.
In the last 23 years, I would pick the following junior welters over Josh Taylor: Tszyu, Judah, Mitchell, Hatton, Khan, D.Garcia, Bradley, Alexander, Matthysse, Maidana, Crawford. Maybe even a prime Vivian Harris too. Josh is basic as all fuck.
Taylor doesn't have that kind of power. If Khan could survive 12 with Maidana, I think he does just fine versus Josh. Khan did exceedingly well against southpaws. Khan got stopped once at 140. And Taylor does not have power like D.Garcia.
True but I don't see Khan putting Taylor in a shell and waiting around for a shot either. Hard to call.
As I said in the Khan vs Taylor thread, Josh's wide base seems to be a weakness for him against fast, slick guys. Khan wasn't slick, but he damn sure was fast of hand and foot. I think Taylor is a step behind Khan all night.
you left out the one and only guy who already beat him. needless to say i disagree with most of these names. and you left out mayweather jr, one of the guys who legitimately would beat him.
