Im not disagreeing but I’m not about to feel sorry for Bridges. I assumed he got the season but it’s pretty clear the NBA on paper gave 30 games. Even the usual talking heads are running with that. So if you’re the NBA and on paper you’ve rendered a wholly inadequate ruling for that piece of shit, you can’t very well go double or even equal for Ja being a recidivist dipshit.
One got nothing to do with the other and no one but you is equating the two If he got a 30 game suspension why is he only missing 10 games next season? Time served for missing 82?
Of Course They Have Something to Do with One Another, Neil...Just as the "Malice at the Palace" Has SOMETHING to Do w/This... When it's Time to Mete Out Punishment, the "Malice at the Palace" is the Fucking Rose Bowl, the Granddaddy of 'em All...In That Vein, Miles Bridges Plead No Contest to FELONY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE Against a Female...As You Yourself Pointed Out, Ja has Broken NO Laws, NOR Did Ja Run Up in the Stands and Beat the Shit Out of Any Fans... So While Some are Chastising Silver for NOT Punishing Ja Enough, the PRECEDENT Was Already Set w/the "Malice at the Palace" and Bridges' Incidents...In Fact, the NBA Would've Only Re-Opened the Miles Bridges Floodgates, By Punishing Ja MORE Severely Than Bridges... Different Acts By Different Dudes, But When it's Time to PAY the Piper, They Definitely Have SOMETHING to Do with One Another Bruh... REED
This Move Gives REED Confidence Kyrie Will INDEED Be Resigning w/the Mavs...REED & One of the Homey's are on the Waiting List for 2023-2024 Season Tickets, But it's Contingent Upon Kyrie Resigning... REED
He wasn’t worth much. He’s overpaid and overrated, especially taking the new CBA into account. Stupid move for a new owner trying to live under an old CBA standard. The new CBA is going to render big 3’s obsolete. What Phoenix needed was good role players to compliment their 2 stars, now they won’t be able to afford any.
This is WHAT James Harden Does... Showed Up FAT and Forced His Way OUT of Houston...Literally QUIT On Brooklyn w/an Undiagnosed, Phantom "Injury"...And Now, After Getting Doc Rivers Fired, Despite the FACT League MVP - Joel Embiid LIKED Doc Rivers and Personally Endorsed Him When Their Season Ended, Harden's Forcing His Way OUT of Philly Too...This is WHAT James Harden Does... Dude is Literally NEVER Happy...Anywhere... Like Kawhi, Harden Teeters on the QUIET/QUIRKY Side, So the Level of Sheer MESSINESS He Brings to Franchises Is Underrated, But Make NOfuckingMISTAKE, James Harden is a Certified TEAM CANCER... Motherfucker Even Tried to Force Himself Back INTO Houston...You Literally CANNOT Make Up the Bullshit James Harden Concocts... REED
Too bad. Espn cut loose lots of dead weight but van gundy is one of the more entertaining color commentators. Guessing tnt picks him up
I believe KJM got cancelled also. Another Kellerman vehicle closed off. Not sure where he ends up. That answers that. He got canned.
Although I agree with all of that I’m not sure how sincere Harden’s desire to go to Houston was. I think it was mostly a bluff to give him leverage for his next contract which apparently didn’t go his way seeing as how he opted in. I doubt he’d want to go to Houston because he’s probably aware Ime Odoka isn’t going to put up with his shit. I wouldn’t be surprised if Harden does want to leave Philly though. Him opting in means he didn’t get the numbers on a new contract offer that he was looking for and knowing Harden he probably unfollowed Darryl Morey and wants to get away from him and his organization. This, despite all that Morey has done for him even going as far as putting Harden’s desires over Embid’s and treating Harden like he was the franchise player. Heard Jalen Rose got canned too.
Rose will walk to the Ringer with Jacoby and Simmons. Maybe even step into Shannon Sharpes role at Undisputed. I doubt he’s off tv for long.
I think he could have gotten a bit more elsewhere but I think his desire to play in LA superseded his pay scale. Afterall he’s already made a grip and is supposedly doing very well with businesses and other investments.
Probably. I’m not saying he was going to get a big contract but he probably could have done better than 2 for 8. I just don’t think it would have been so much better that it would have been worth it for him to leave LA, which is where he wants to be. It probably had something to do with him showing more heart and desire in the playoffs then Ayton, the guy he was backing up. And the fact he’s a center.
Watched some highlights of Scot Henderson as well as his debut summer league game and I really don’t see the Westbrook comparisons at all. Whether running the floor or attacking the rim for a dunk, Westbrook was noticeably explosive; the same can be said of a guy like Derrick Rose. I don’t see explosion from Scot in foot speed or in his jumps and when I first saw his highlights I thought he looked rather average in foot speed and jumping explosion. In fact the guy who’s rim runs Scot reminds me of is Bradley Beal. Beal has that same look of average speed but still manages to blow by opponents and I think that’s a better comparison to Scot. Without that explosiveness in his game I don’t see how this kid is going to reach the superstardom many see him projected to have but I guess we’ll see. On the flip side I was rather impressed by the game of Amen Thompson who actually showed a bit of explosion once attacking the rim. His switch from trot to top speed looked impressive and the type of explosion I’ve yet to see from Scot. I also like the tricky spins and twists he puts on the ball during some of his layups probably because it was a big staple of my own game back in the day. By the way, it sucked that both guys suffered minor injuries in their debuts. A shoulder injury for Scot and sprained ankle for Thompson.
