That's 100% it. Even in North American coverage of football there's nearly always a link to something Manure related among the headlines.

Player sets all time goal record
    Largest transfer fee ever
    Manager gets sacked
    Legend of football announces retirement
Ex Man United player scores brace in Estonian league pre-season friendly

Steven Gerrard said a "family feeling" at Saudi Pro League club Al Ettifaq was one of the things that persuaded him to accept a coaching job with the side.

    Yes, that's what it was.

Everton had two on the squad.

CB Jared Braithwaite & MF James Garner

They interrupted a match at Goodison last season. Some kid handcuffed himself to the goal. I don't remember the opponent but Everton came back & tied the match after the long delay and then it ended. So there were all these Everton memes depicting that cunt as the man of the match & a hero.

Off to Dublin to watch Celtic vs Wolves. Doesn't say a thing about which stand is allocated to which fans so who knows where we've landed.:emoji_wolf::emoji_wolf: im guessing the odds will be heavily in our favour

    Christian Pull-this-dick to Milan.

I think that Serie A is way too physical for his injury-prone ass. He'd have been better off in Spain.

I agree in principle, but Milan are weird, they seem to squeeze the best out of players. Wouldn't surprise me if he gets his career back on track, but again it could just be a massive failure.

The closer it gets to the season starting, the more I believe Kane isn't going anywhere.

I personally thought Postecoglou would prefer selling him based on playing style....maybe he's getting leaned on

I would have thought Postecoglou would rather Kane stayed. He'll be so difficult to replace. Practically impossible to replace actually. If he goes, Richarlison will lead the line. Richarlison couldn't score in a brothel.

Id have expected him to cash in then bring in his own guys with way more legs.... tammy abraham, volland, mitoma, hard pressing guys along those lines. He's built around that in all his previous teams, a bit like Klopp. But i guess Kane is good enough to work around

Chelsea have completely disassembled the attack that won them the Champions League. An all or nothing approach. I suspect this is Boehly and not Poch's doing. Bringing in an all new strike force with Lukaku's status still in limbo.

Chelski are not making the top 4 this season. I don't think they'll even make the top 6. They've gotten rid of so many players. They've no strength in depth. Their first team isn't all that and last season was a shocker for them (oh how we all laughed). Poch has a lot of work to do to turn things around.

I remember last season, they has a couple of matches in a row under Potter where the defense looked great and the MF were in sync with the attack. It looked like they had gelled and were going to he a force to be reckoned with. Then they fell apart like a cheap suit again. They drew at home with us when we were really struggling.

Imagine sacking Tuchel and ending the season losing matches left and right with Lampard.

If the Saudis keep buying the just over the hill players, it will be interesting to see who can replace well those experienced players..surely Everton are fcked by the way, signing Ashley Young?

I don't think the Young signing is that bad. People make a big deal because it's the first signing. We need a LB. The starter Mykolenko is shaky. If Young could start over Digne at Villa he might be able to start over Mykolenko. If not, he'll be suitable back up who can also play RB & MF. Godfrey can also cover both sides but he hasn't been the same player since he had COVID. He can play all these different positions. He's just not great at any of them.

We need to sell or loan out Holgate and Maupay (and probably Gomes too.) We need two strikers now that Simms has been sold to Coventry. Or one striker and one of the young guys (Cannon or Dobbin) to come up as a third striker. Gray wants to move on so another winger and most importantly at least one solid CB to replace Mina. If we can only afford two big signings, it needs to be striker & CB.

The fact its pushing august and the first signing is a 38 year old on a free does seem a bit ominous. Reminds me of Celtic transfer windows in the last year before they almost went bust. 11pm on deadline day....Celtic secure Frank McCavennie on a free transfer from the rehab clinic

If Young is the only transfer or the top transfer then it's a disaster. But I know we have bids on some other players and are looking at a Man U striker. Young fills a void that we needed and in that position, he might be better than our starter.

I think the reason I am more optimistic this season than last season is because we have Dyche instead of Lampard. I know Dyche isn't a top manager by any means but he's Merlin The Wizard compared to Lampard. I can actually trust the manager to make moves and set up formations. With Lampard, I felt like half the people in the stands could come down and do better.
