The time has come! Spence-Crawford: FINAL PREDICTIONS!

Spence UD, I think he’ll outwork Crawford. I even bet on it (nice odds at +135). Can’t wait!

 

Pretty sure i've posted prediction in various other threads and the reason why but for the record taking Crawford on points.

Looking forward to this one as it seemingly could go multiple ways and I don't care which. I also don't have much hope it will be a classic, but it should be interesting at a minimum. By that I mean as a fight in of itself and not the stakes.

 

It'll definitely be competitive but Crawford will step up a level through the championship rounds.

Nah Im on the same boat. Everyone is still a bit giddy about Inoue’s performance against Fulton. It was a great showing but I still think that the winner of Crawford vs Fulton will be the #1 guy. If Crawford or Spence manage to put on a dominant performance against either other than there’s no doubt about that.

It's complicated. I think the winner is the P4P #1 based on merit. But both are passed their primes.

I think Inoue is technically the best fighter on the planet right now. However, the winner of Spence-Crawford deserves the P4P crown.

It's kinda like 2000, when Trinidad assumed the P4P crown after beating Vargas, but deep down, everyone knew that Jones was still the best fighter in the world.

 

The way the trajectory of the sport appears headed in, it would appear that Inoue, Shakur, and Boots will be the three best fighters in the world 2 years from now. Quite possible that Morrell could be right up there with them.

 

If Spence was a thug, and Crawford was a social media influencer and mental health advocate, I reckon it'd be a bigger event.

 

Isn’t it wild how Tank-Ryan has done bigger numbers than this will despite it being obvious that Spence and Crawford are better fighters?

Spence keeps it long with his jab and doesn't engage. Crawford is tentative and we have a dull, drab affair which doesn't ever really take off. I'm not sure who the A-side is so I can't really predict. I guess it's Spence? I'll take Spence UD in a shit fight.

 

I've got a feeling that Crawford will adjust after a slowish start and pull clear over the second half for a UD in a good fight.

 

Still thinking that the fight will end up being highly competitive in the first half of the fight with Crawford adjusting later on. Spence’s best chance is to ensure that he piles up enough points in the first 6 rounds.

 

Key for Spence is steady pressure and body attack. Key for Crawford is willingness to trade inside.

I leaned Spence before his accidents, but I can't see how anyone could get back to 100% after that first one.

 

My $ is on Spence.

 

Given the statistical analysis, age, size, and level of opposition, I will have to pick Spence by ko 10 with a standard deviation of 1.5 rounds.

The more i think about it the more i feel like like the guy who does the better job punching the other in the face and/or body and doesn't allow the opponent to do the same is going to win.
