R9: Crawford so confident right now. Seems purely justified. Crawford's right hand from the sp stance is just brutal. So effective.
FIght stopped with around 20 secs to go. Yes, early, but Crawford looked mean, relentless, and brutal. No one will complain even if it was early.

Can't remember being this blown away by a performance.

 

Crawford is the pfp best fighter in the world, he left no question unanswered tonight.

 

Crawford looked great but Spence also made it easy for him. Terrible defense, throwing wide shots and leaving himself completely open to counters.

 

I like Inoue better, but this was a P4P #1 type performance. Also, nothing about this performance suggested he'd lose to same size Inoue. It was pretty flawless. If I want to lower the performance, I'm going to surmise that the first knockdown took so much out of Spence that the rest of the fight is a bit of a mirage. Not sure that's true, though, just a possibilty.

 

Crawford with an ATG performance, my goodness he made Spence look second rate. Undoubtedly the best P4P fighter right now.

 

Great performance by TC, but that seemed like a mismatch.

 

Spence is clearly not the same fighter he was when he took the title from Brook, but based on tonight, he could have never fucked with Bud.

I don't wanna beat a dead Ukrainian, but I was in the minority years ago saying Bud was better than Loma. Some were calling me foolish.

History showed that one isn't anywhere NEAR the class of the other.

 

Wow, that performance against Errol Spence was absolutely exceptional! His power was off the charts, the precision in his punches was surgical, and his speed was mesmerizing. It was like watching a prime Mayweather, but with even more matrix-like reflexes and knockout power. After witnessing that bout, I couldn't help but reconsider who truly deserves the title of the pound-for-pound #1, even over Inoue and Usyk. It was a game-changing display of skill and talent that left me in awe. And major props to Spence for his bravery.

 

Does anyone else worry Jim Grey is going to be an asshole during the post fight interview? After all these years I still get a dreadful feeling everytime he shows up.
