Can you believe that if Bud had stayed with TR, they were gonna make Crawford-Taylor.

My God Josh dodged a bullet.

Or it may have been just one off night that has nothing to do with any of those reasons. I think Crawford is the better fight and picked him to win.

Errol just looked way too off . To make matters worse TC was on his A+ game. Absolutely dominant performance. Near perfection.

Crawford was just plain and simple better . He was on his A game too. He’s never looked better.

I will say that I think Boots would have also stopped Spence tonight.

How do you see Boots’ chances against Crawford? Boots is very fast and explosive but Crawford is smarter and sharper in punches.

Until tonight I had Boots. I thought Bud was losing it.

Bud fighting at this level? You have to favor him, BUT... I'm 110% sure that Boots fares better than Spence.

Boots would have put up a better fight, but I’m not sure if he’ll last the distance. Crawford’s offense and nasty counters will nullify Boots.

Incredible performance from Crawford. Every time he hit Spence he hurt him. His jab was such a weapon. His countering was phenomenal. It was simply a masterclass.

Crawford is likely moving up to 154 even if there is no rematch. Boots is gonna have to fight for vacant titles.

Bitch move by Crawford not fighting Boots. But I guess easy undisputed at 154 vs Charlo is tempting.

It was apparent before the fight even started. Many of us knew Spence was in over his head. Crawford is a special fighter. I know people will say I'm crazy but I think Bud beats Mayweather and Pea.

Spence was in a life threatening car wreck, boiling down to make an unnatural weight for at least 4 or 5 years, and hadn't fought in over a year

Not to be an after timer but I'm not sure Spence was ever that good. He got buzzed several times. Looked a bit chinny at times. Getting in on Brooks body and busting up his eye after GGG did the ground work. Winning every round off a jab vs a Mikey Garcia who was in there fist pumping after knowingly losing rounds. Danny Garcia and Porter have their limitations. Cotto would beat them. It looks like Crawford is a p4p guy and Spence is the best of the non p4p guys. It's easy to say this after the fact but the thing was I wasn't rating Crawford super high before. He proved he is a step above. How do you think these guys do vs Floyd, Pac or Cotto. I don't think Crawford beats Floyd at 147. I make him fav over pac and definitely cotto but pac is always a wildcard that you can't really know how someone will handle his speed until they get in there. I don't know if Spence would beat cotto but I would have said he's on that kind of level. That's how I would have seen it before. Loses to pac and Floyd.

I hate this kind of post.

Fighter gives world-class performance on a level only a minority predicted and immediately win is denigrated (‘Spence was never that good anyway.’).

This forum had it 14-10 in favour of Crawford before the fight, which was about the overall betting odds, I think.

Of the 14 who predicted a Crawford win, only 5 of those 14 had it by KO. And I’m not sure of the 5 that predicted it there was as much confidence in the level of performance Crawford actually gave.

Oh, yeah, and you predicted a Spence win too so you’re absolutely being wise after the fact.

Some people just don’t want to recognise a great win, whatever it looks like.

I picked Bud by stoppage. The outcome was not a shock to me. The one sidedness was a shock, and don't pretend like it wasnt.

@ButterbeansDad asked how Bud would have fared against Floyd, Pac, and Cotto.

Well, he would have fucked up Cotto. I've said that for YEARS. Crawford would stop Cotto and I'd bet the house on it.

I'm not sure what to make of Crawford versus Floyd and Pac in their primes. I wouldn't count him out in either matchup though. He has traits that could trouble both of them.

Let's not continue taking credit from Bud btw.

Even the 2017 Spence would have gotten stopped.

This was the best performance of a 35+ fighter since Hopkins-Trinidad. I won't put it above, because Tito was a different class than Spence.

Crawford looked like a great last night. I was impressed with what Inoue did last week but not as much as I was yesterday. He looked like a special fighter.

I dunno, with the way some people were hyping Fulton, you would think he was in Spence's league.
