A big part of the reason I picked Crawford is that he has more dimensions. Not just the switch-hitting, but in general. I thought Errol would make it rough on him but as rounds went TC would make the adjustments and start taking over. He never had to do any of that. He was in complete control the entire time.

I don't always look super deep into how guys look walking into the arena, but the difference was staggering. Spence looked a bit nervous walking into the arena - like he knew Bud was different from his other opponents. Bud looked so focused and locked in that it was scary. He had the level of focus on his face that Hagler had coming in to fight Hearns.

I thought to myself, "Yeah Bud's got this."

I always picked Crawford to win, but never in a million years did I think he'd win like THAT. Absolutely phenomenal performance.

Actually felt a bit bad for Spence by the end. He's an excellent fighter and seems like a good dude, I doubt he can ever be the same after a beating like that.

During the fight I locked eyes on Bud and just watched him solely for a couple of rounds. He was seeing and reacting to everything Spence did in real time, literally every step and movement, every feint and dip, Bud had a subtle counter movement setting up a counter or defensive move. Was pretty remarkable to watch.

That said Spence looked slower and shittier than normal. But Bud just carved him up like a surgeon.

Spence's only chance was to maul, but just closing distance was very expensive for him.

Bud's framing is sublime, he's just always in control and never finds himself in a position to be countered.

Thurman is a clown. I don't hate him, he seems like a cool guy, but he's a clown. He knows damn that he ducked both Bud and Spence.

He had quite a few clips coming in and out of the fight and he was kind of serious but kind of joking. He called out Crawford after the fight but kind if hinted that he needs to take other fights before Crawford will fight him now. He was very respectful to both guys.

Crawford called Elle Sackback a retard.

It's official... Bud Crawford is a God. It's about time someone said that out loud.

I find it ironic now that Spence said in the first presser: "I'm Jamaican, we smoke Bud."

Yeah, that's the fuckin problem. You out here smoking and drinking, while Bud lives a clean life.

    We'll agree to disagree.

I don't see what you see in Sandals. It's easy to have KO power in both hands when you're fighting B level, at best guys. I've seen enough to know he's more sizzle than steak . His record is a who's who of who?

I'll eat my crow happily as I picked Spence.

What a masterful performance by Bud. Incredible.

Yeah Spence didn't look as good as he has in the past, however I attribute that to Bud's gameplan more than Spence being weight drained or anything like that. When Bud mentioned he knew he had to put some balls behind his jab in the post fight ring interview, that showed Bud and his team were ready for anything Spence was going to do or try to do. Bud was a step ahead in every facet of the fight.

I'm actually shocked that Muzse doesn't like Boots. He's both physically talented and technically skilled. Far from a runner. Killer instinct for days. And outside the ring he's quiet and stays outta trouble. He checks all the boxes of the type of fighter Muz has historically rooted for.

I don't buy the talent and skilled stuff. The jury is out due to the competition. Everyone looks like a dawg into they're punched in the mouth and when you really watch his fights you see him getting hit with shit he shouldn't. Especially for a "skilled" fighter vs B level competition.

I've always liked Bud and Spence because neither talked a lot of shit and handled themselves the right way for the most part. And they handled themselves inside the ring. Sandals might be ok outside the ring (allegedly) but inside, not sold.

Boots gets hit less at 26 than Spence was getting hit at that age. Ennis has better reflexes than Spence. He's just more athletic than Spence overall.

As for the second paragraph, Spence always ran his mouth more than Ennis does. I'm not saying Spence was a James Toney-like trash talker, but he talked more shit than Ennis does.

Ennis almost exclusively let's his fists do the talking.

I think Ennis is more gifted than Spence as far as the eye test. Hits harder, quicker handed, reflexes, and seems more dynamic. Spence got by on sound fundamentals and dogged determination. But ultimately we gotta see Boots tested and I don’t mean shot ass Keith Thurman. I’d like to see him in there with Stanionis if not Bud Crawford right now.

Boots seems on the same path as Spence, age wise. Spence took the title from Brook at 27. Before Brook, he hadn't been tested either. In fact, Ennis' comp is a lot better than Spence's pre-Brook comp.

Screamin A Stiff was just on ESPN calling for Spence to retire.

And actually... I don't disagree with him.

I think Errol could consider it. He’s made plenty of money.

But if he’s gonna come back, I don’t think he should do a rematch with Bud.

Would Spence executing a rematch clause be more pointless than Kambozo doing it for Haney, or even Floyd doing it for Sonny Liston
