It's rare that I say anything pro-Loma, but the 130 Loma would have beaten the ever living fuck outta Navarette.
Very good fight, and it went down much how I expected it. Navarette is a good fighter. Not elite level, but a good fighter.

sounds like no need for a rematch based on some opinions here and of the judges. still probably the biggest money fight for navarette at 130.
I don't think a rematch is necessary. Nav won 9-3 or 8-4. I don't know what other options he has though. Unless, he moves up to 135 and fights Bozos.
Navarette Said He "Isn't Scared" of Shakur, in a Fighthype and Fighthub Post-Fight Interview Last Night...Alluded to the Fact He'd Entertain it if Offered... Considering the DIFFICULTY Arum's Having in Finding Opponents for Shakur, This Could Be an Option, Even Though Shakur 12-0's Navarette or STOPS him Late, in REED's Opinion... REED
And Doub, Who's CLEARLY Feeling Himself Since his Boy Won, Will BITCH & MOAN About "Size" (as he Has for YEARS Whenever the Notion of Navarette vs. Shakur is Mentioned) and Give Shakur ZERO Credit After the Fact... It's WHAT Doub Does... REED
I'll give him zero credit before the fact. If he wants a real opponent, he has to pay real opponent money.
You WON'T Give Shakur a Lick of Credit AFTER He 12-0's or STOPS Your Boy Either... That's HOW You Roll... REED
Finally just finished watching it. Good entertaining fight. Navarrete pretty much got the better of Valdez in most of the exchanges and won 8-4. And he barely got a mark on his face. He’s such an awkward fighter but very effective and relentless. I think he showed pretty good defense too. Valdez kept loading up on his punches and relied on just one hard counter shot while allowing Navarette to put his foot on the gas. Good performance from Navarrete overall.
