Fight is this weekend. Anyone actually interested in tuning in? You guys think this will be close to competitive?

 

I might tune in, I'm not working so I probably won't have anything else to do. It's not a fight I'm particularly interested in, though.

 

3/4th's of the Heavyweight Championships are @ Stake, So YES, REED Is Interested, if Only MILDLY...

Was About to Ask What Network was Broadcasting the Bout in the States, But REED Just Saw ESPN or One of its Affiliates Will Be Covering It...Usyk By WIDE UD or Very Late Stoppage - 10th Round or LATER...

Dubois has no chin or heart. Usyk could get him going early. Dubois isn't going to react well to punches he doesn't see. The only other southpaw he fought had him on skates early

I'll be watching. Dubois has a punchers chance but little else. He'll be outclassed and, if Usyk presses the action, he probably ends it pretty emphatically.

Dubois vs Ngannou woulda been more interesting

 

Not that I think Dubois is great or anything but it was obvious the reason he got kd's was because of some issue with his leg. I'm still not sold on Usyk at hw so I feel it's a mildly interesting fight.

 

I cant watch, I'm working, but to say DuBois has no heart is unfair. He quit off an injury and in doing so joined pretty good company not just in the HW division but across boxing.

He has a solid punchers chance and he can be a spiteful patient finisher albeit at sub-championship level.

I would be surprised but not shocked if he won.

At 6/1 he's worth a fiver.

 

That was a gut check and he passed it. The negatives are that the guy was a smallish HW.

 

This keeps happening in boxing and it's bullshit....

.....setting out to set up a massive story where there really isn't that story at all.

Upset? Yes. Surprise, definitely. But "all time great upset".... Come on.
