Self-explanatory. Are there any heavyweight greats you could see Usyk beating?

Lol no. Even little Marciano would probably get to his glass body in no time

I was thinking that Rock would be his only chance on that list, but I've always said I would favor Marciano.

Marciano went from overrated for probably half a century, to now very underrated in 2023.

it could be a competitive fight. Id pick Usyk.

I also think Usyk would be competitive with: Louis, Frazier, Holyfield, Bowe, and Ali.

    *Immediate Thought*

Floyd Patterson is about as CLOSE to “Great” That REED Would Give Usyk Even a PRAYER of Beating…

I think the 66 Ali would beat the ever living fuck outta Usyk in an EXTREMELY one sided fight.

Nope, he was already Ali by the Williams fight, for example.

While Usyk would be live, I'd definitely favor Patterson who s tremendously underrated nowaday

ok. well when i said Ali, i considered the post exile version. I would pick the pre exile version to beat Usyk handily.

Usyk looked like shit saturday, but he is 36 years old and been fighting only once per year since 2018.

Ali at 36 was losing to novices like Spinks.

I think Usyk is a great fighter and a First Ballot HOFmer. He just doesn't stack up well against the heavyweight greats.

I'd favor him over anyone below 200 except for Marciano, Holy, Patterson, and maybe Spinks.

I think Spinks would figure Usyk out in all honesty. He was a more versatile and intelligent fighter than Usyk.

According to Anthony Joshua, the card they're putting together in Saudi Arabia is a doubleheader. Usyk vs Fury & Joshua vs Wilder.

Honestly, I think we should compare Usyk to the Doke's, Moorer's and Byrd's of the division. Yeah on a good day, they could spring an upset over a great fighter, but more likely than not, they get beaten up. Usyk is a guy who, even at cruiserweight, struggled with most of his top opponents (and most of them were nonetheless garbage) and he simply hasn't been impressive at hw unless you rate Joshua (I don't).

He probably beats Marciano in a close one, but lose against all the others. Might gave a decent fight to Holyfield, who had the tendancy to make his fights more difficult than they should, but all the others obliterate him.

173 lbs Conn slugged evenly with Louis for 12 rounds, 185 lbs Bob Pastor went eleven, 200 lbs Godoy gave him a tough 15-rounder. I believe Usyk could do little better than them.

Liston didn't steamroll Whitehurst, Marshall nor Machen. I don't think he would steamroll better moving and much larger Usyk either

I never said steamroll, but Usyk doesn't have the artillery and frankly not the defense to win against Liston and Louis in the end.

I think everyone might agree that of all the heavyweight greats, prime Mike is far and away the worst matchup for Usyk. Mike's footspeed and his own footwork totally negates Usyk's footwork. I think Tyson ends Usyk in 2, in all honesty.

There were nights in the careers of Louis and Holyfield and Marciano where Usyk could have won.
