That guy has to be related to Maupay.

Speaking of that clown, I read something even funnier that Martial's Ballon d' Or clause in his contract.

Maupay's mum is Argentinian. Before the last WC, Maupay wrote to the Argentinian federation saying he's willing to play for Argentina. I'm guessing there was a whole room full of laughter when that letter was opened.

Had a feeling they'd do well this season. They always seem to have the odd transitional season recently where they're not great. Nunez would be an absolute beast if he was more clinical.

Chelsea fans are the worst. One cup win and they are acting like they won the CL.

Currently having a pint in what might be the worst pub in Shepherds Bush, always has the air of societal collapse. Cheap pints though, so fuck it.

I low key believed we'd be the only club that can get even close to City. I deffo feeling Liverpool will have a better year than Arsenal who could suffer the dreaded "year after finishing second season"

What fuckin annoys me is this way the press dickheads look at Chelsea like they were some sort of a complicated equation that warranted studying and research.

They've spent a fortune AND THEY ARE SHIT.

what's all this "oooh, what's it all about" Bollox from the usual dickheads on tallkSHITE ?

Benitez came in at Chelsea when DiMatteo was being found out and got them back into 3rf and won the Europa. He got treated like dirt by the press.

This guy Pocchetino is another Villas Boas. What's he done? He's got beat in the CL final. That's it.

Owen sat there like he was listening to a recital of the names of the weens killed at Aberfan. The agony! I must show my reverence for ....for this great man of football! This astounding club! This somber sobering moment of profound gravity! Sacked! Chelsea! Awful!

    Fuck off .

Has it still got the lovely, bare hospital green walls that google image shows us?

Slice, do you ever travel across London just to visit pubs you like?

Pestering Slice again- does the championship not have any fairplay style rules about wages to turnover? Are there plans to introduce them? Seems like every club in the league functions like its being run by Moonbeams Murray, its a bit alarming

I used to, not so much all the way across to East London as it's a bit of a faff, but certainly to Central. Now not so much tbh as there are loads of good pubs near me.

We had financial stability rules come in to the Championship around 2017 or 2018 if my memory serves me right, but I'm not 100% sure what it entails. It was probably completely down to QPR and our financial balls-up that they introduced it in the first place.

I keep reading that average wages are higher than turnover and average yearly losses are like 30 mill. Hopefully things arent as parlous as that sounds

Ive not spent much time in east London but i went for a pint in the prospect of whitby last time i was down which is probably a bit of a tourist trap but a cool one- right on the river and claims to be from the 1500s (albeit pubs like to claim to be 200 years older than they are so who knows). Apparently they used to hang pirates in the beer garden... i was buzzed enough to chose to believe that shit
