The Floyd that blew out his rotator cuff against JLC would lose to a lot of LW's

I remember watching it live and thinking Floyd nicked it. Then I watched it again and actually scored it during lockdown because I had fuck all better to do and I scored it to Castillo. One of those ones. If I remember correctly, the points deductions for both made it kinda confusing because how you were scoring the round at the point of the deduction made a big difference.

Always found it kinda weird that the official scores were weirdly wide in favour of Mayweather in the first fight, but in the rematch they were all 115-113 despite the fact he clearly won that fight by a country mile.

first five rounds were pretty uneventful where mayweather did little and castillo did less.

Yeah i think they were tying to make it up to Castillo because of the decision in the first fight. Shades of Barrera-Morales 2.

Wasn't the second fight a split decision? Or maybe I'm imagining that.

No, only De La Hoya has ever won a scorecard against Mayweather.

I scored it for Floyd by 2-3 points. Castillo gave away way too many early rounds.

But I kind of wish Castillo got the decision, as Floyd became too careful with his matchmaking and protecting his 0.

It was unanimous, but the judges actually had the cards closer in the rematch. Probably trying to make up for the controversy in the first fight.

The Oscar fight was a SD. Maidana 1 and somehow Canelo were MD.
