Oh my bad! In my defense, I'm only about 70% awake right now. I thought it was a Tweet FROM Mall.

Yeah, Bud is right. Bud night as well retire after the Spence rematch. There's now zero mainstream internet in Crawford-Charlo.

I don't think Plant was a cash grab at all.

A cash grab is when a guy comes in knowing from jump that he's just there to survive.

    That's not how I would characterize Plant-Alvarez.

Caleb legitimately thought he could whup Canelo. It wasn't until Alvarez took command after the mid-rounds that Caleb came to a mental realization he was fucked.

Sounds like what happened tonight, Mell always knew he was losing. Like I said, his interviews lacked confidence.

It is not the least bit nostalgic to say this:

Jermell would not be relevant AT ALL at 154 in the Trinidad/Vargas/DLH/Wright/Mosley era.

I'd take a prime Kassim Ouma over Jermell with no hesitation.

Canelo has definitely declined. He’d have stopped Jermell a few years ago.

There's no way Jermell sees 12 with Crawford.

    It's a far better matchup than Canelo-Charlo.

It seems like you're feeling emotional and nostalgic about Showtime going out of business, reminiscing about the good old days in the '90s. Those were indeed remarkable times when fighters like Roy Jones Jr. had dedicated fans(when you held on to his nutsack 24/7 like a baby koala). It can be a challenge to find a new fighter to support when you've had such fond memories of the past. However, the boxing world always has new talents emerging, so you might discover someone worth cheering for in the future. Good luck.

I'll be sure to heed the input of a boxing fan who had never heard of Bob Sheridan before yesterday.

Oh I have no clue who that is. I'm into some really weird stuff, like underwater basket weaving, cheese rolling, and even thumb wrestling championships. But I'm sure you've never heard of this guy, Sir Bartholomew Fiddlesticks? Ptfff.. I thought so. Shows how much you know.

Such a weird style. Low volume, walk forward slugger but one with textbook technique who can still reliably outscore guys with his defence/counter punching? I can't think of any other fighter that'd describe

You knew within 90 seconds of the first round of this one Charlo was fucked. Alvarez should've got him out of there

I can see why Team Canelo is not anxious to mix it up with Benavidez. He’d beat the hell outta Canelo, especially now. If Canelo cannot stop Jermell, his power is not gonna do jack shit to Benavidez.

I predict Canelo faces Berlanga next.

After that non-performance from Charlo I don’t blame Crawford.

Gutless performance by Charlo. Purses should be withheld for these types of performances imo. After the fight he was saying "He didn't knock me out". What a gutless individual.

I'm happy the fight played out as it did which is worse legacy wise for Mell. If he'd gotten beaten down or at least tried fighting back (like Spence) he'd get some level of respect. Went down trying.

Mell didn't even try. Was content with going the distance.

Spence could hold his head high despite taking a beating. Mell needs to go away in shame because after that "performance" who wants to see him in another big fight?

It was a disgraceful performance from Charlo, I hate that shit. Ryder put up a much better fight.

It seems like Crawford calling out Canelo might just be a bit of smoke and mirrors. In an interview, when asked about fighting Charlo, he did mention a rematch with Errol. So, who knows, maybe Boots is up next on the list?
