    Whitaker at his best vs an opponent at his best...@135 ONLY Duran I would favor over him....

    Not Mosley, Floyd. Camacho, Chavez, Ortiz, not GEVONTA...or whaever his name....

    ancient fighters from 1930s and earlier and beating Whitaker fuk outta here….

    Whitaker gave the funniest “Best I’ve Faced” by The Ring when he used almost every section to talk about how great he is.

    Best I Faced: Pernell Whitaker - The Ring

    Only guy in the last half century I pick over him (I haven’t seen enough film before that) at 135 is Duran, and that’s only a slight favorite. I pick Whitaker to win a 7-5, 8-4 type decision over Floyd from 135-147, or at least the Whitaker up to 95’.

    Yep. That's the one thing that irritated me about him sometimes. The smug smile or shoulder shrug when he made guys miss. OK great defense, but open up and make them pay for it instead of congratulating yourself.

    Fucken A can't stand that guy. As a Trinidad and Dlh fan he was awful to watch against my two favorite guys in the 90s. The most boring fights.
