Ruiz by Ko... Of Usyk, Wilder...Ruiz is the most winnable fight for Ngannou...but the the one that makes him the least amount of money..
Ruiz doesn't have the chin to take shots from Ngannou. He was caught by Arreola and dropped in one of his recent fights. That lets me know that if Ngannou lands it's lights out for Ruiz. And I may be overrating Ngannou at this point but the HW division is crap so I give him a good chance at beating Ruiz by Ko.
Ruiz in the form he had for Joshua 1 would beat Ngannou. I wouldn't pick that fat piece of shit now. He's washed.
Fun Fight... Ruiz's HANDSPEED/COMBINATION Punching Poses Problems, But if Ngannou Forces/Keeps Ruiz On His Backfoot, Bad Built Andy is FUCKED...Ngannou's Phone is Undoubtedly Ringing OFF the Fucking Hook w/Calls from the ENTIRE Heavyweight Division...Like REED Said in his Video, the Mere PROSPECT of Ngannou's Next Fight, Whomever it May Be Against, is Now MORE Intriguing Than Fury vs Usyk for the Undisputed Title... REED
And if you know anything about Ngannou's story it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. He was a homeless guy living in the streets of Paris 6 years ago. He worked in the mines in Africa as a child. You could write a book or make a movie about his life. My point is he's very marketable. He reminds me of Manny Pacquiao. Very humble beginnings a rag to riches story.
It's Not Even About KNOWING How Well Francis Would Do, It's About DENYING Him the Opportunity.... REED
Yeah well Dana isn’t going to risk his heavyweight champ getting knocked out. That’s bad business. Plus Francis didn’t want any part of Jones
Why Not??? THE Biggest Name in the History of Dana's Sport Got KO'ed in a Boxing Match and it Had NO Affect On his MMA Marketability Thereafter???... REED
Francis wasn’t the same draw as the Irishman. Plus, unlike conner, Francis was difficult to deal with when it came to taking fights.
"Difficult to Deal w"/Per WHO, Dana White???...Mr. "Undisclosed Earnings"???... Sorry, Gonna Need an Actual OBJECTIVE Source On Those Negotiations Because Dana Definitely AIN'T One...Dana's Also Insinuated McGregor was "Difficult" to Deal w/and Bones Jones, as Well...Point Being, There was NO Demonstrated DOWNSIDE to Allowing Francis to Box, Based on Mayweather-McGregor... No 2 Ways About It, Dana MISSED the Boat On This One...BADLY... REED
"difficult to deal with" = refuses to accept chump change and be exploited taking a tiny % of the pie for mega ppvs
This... Anthony Knows This & He Knows REED KNOWS This as Well...Anthony's "Problem" Is He Takes the SUIT Side of the Negotiating Process 11 Times Out of 10...To Him, Guys Like Ngannou, McGregor and Bones Jones Should Just "Shut Up and FIGHT!"... REED
Exactly bro. You're gonna take what the czar of the UFC says at face value. Ofcourse he's going to say Ngannou is difficult to deal with and that he's ducking Jones. First of all Jones as great of a fighter as he is has his own demons. Has faced Drug legal problems not exactly the easiest guy to promotr. And as of now he's out with an injury. Francis isn't scared of Jones he just understands he can get more money in boxing. Dana is a lying POS. I wouldn't put too much stock into what he says.
Mostly agreed but I think there were significant risks in allowing Ngannou to fight in a boxing match against Fury. Unfortunately, boxing and MMA are still though of as substitute products by the mainstream media and casuals. So I don't blame Dana for not agreeing to it (I do for throwing him under the bus afterward though). Had Ngannou lost in a one sided fashion, asmost if us expected, his marketability would have gone way down imo. Yes you can point to McGregor not losing any in spite of his loss to Floyd but McGregor's a special case. What Tyson said about selling out the MSG if he masturbated could apply to the Irishman as well. Furthermore, Floyd is not a puncher, casuals think he's the GOAT and McGregor wasn't a reigning champ. So the potential downsides were quite limited.
disagREED... The POTENTIAL Downside for McGregor Getting STOPPED By an AGING, INACTIVE, Non-Puncher Like Floyd was Certainly There, it Just Never Materialized...Because Even Casuals KNEW Conor was OUT of His Comfort Zone in a Boxing Ring...That Same Luxury/Level of "Understanding" Would've Been Afforded to Francis as Well, Facing a Younger, Reigning Champion in Boxing... REED
I noticed Dana is kind of a dick that way. He turns on his fighters all the time case in point when Dana fired Michael Jackson for showboating and not trying to finish CM Punk. Called him and idiot and a goofball and said he could go back to whatever he was doing before the UFC. A complete tyrant in his organization.
It's good for boxing, in that UFC now can be a feeder comp for marquee opponents for champion boxers, which weakens the UFC and again shows that boxing is where it's at. Jon Jones should fight Usyk for example, fun crossover fight that would make bank.
