These 4 are all headed to the HOF in the modern category.

Congrats to Chico from the grave. I was wondering when they were gonna posthumously induct him.

I don't think a HOF induction could benefit Mayweather more. I think he's beaten nine now, plus Pacquiao and Canelo will obviously get in one day. Unless those two were already included in the nine, Idk.

Calderon deserves it imo. He was boring as Hell, but he was very good over a long reign.

There's still countless small division fighters who deserved it more though.

We'll know it's a conspiracy if 5 years from now shit really starts getting weird.

"Wait a minute, how did Philip Ndou get in the HOF?????"

Chico and Calderon are the most deserving IMO. Glad they both got in.

Calderon had a pretty style to watch but could be tedious at times. His first battle with Giovanni Segura was awesome.

There's seven fighters currently in the HOF that Floyd has beaten and will eventually become 9 once Pac and Canelo get in since they're both locks. The number of HOFers that's on his win column will surely give him more ammunition for his never ending bragging rights, as insufferable as that sounds.

Speaking of dope peddlers, I wonder if Michael Nunn will make it in one day.

It's a long shot but Nunn deserves a spot.
Speaking of dope peddlers I recall Ivan Calderon having $4M worth of coke found in his home when law enforcement raided it.

I long for the day where Victor Ortiz and Andre Berto shake hands, before allowing Conor McGregor to make his speech following an inexplicable nomination.

I'm surprised Mel Taylor hasn't made it yet. He was popular, accomplished, and part of an iconic fight. Beat the Hell outta McGirt, and they put McGirt in. It's actually kinda shocking to me he hasn't made it.

I suspect he will in the next 5-10 years.

I'm also surprised that Eubank still hasn't made it. I have no love at all for Eubank, but how the Hell did Hatton make it in before him?

I don't know how it works but i suspect if you don't get in near right away you tend to be forgotten about. Then year after year those are newly up for induction get more attention due to recency, therefore those not already elected fall even further back.

With some fighters it will be politics of course but others it's simply being forgotten about and not enough people really banging the drum for them.

Perhaps. Collazo was a good win. Disputed decision but also his debut at welter and I think first big fight outside the UK?

    I thought Collazo beat Hatton.

Overall, Hatton is the least deserving guy of the 4 imo.

Even someone like Michalczewski, whom I disliked as a Roy fan. But a guy like DM belongs in the Hall more than Hatton.

    It's purely a popularity contest.

Yeah i would agree with all of that but if we go by "I thought A beat B" there's a whole of guys better than Hatton who got more questionable decisions than him.

I wasn't holding the Collazo fight against his career as a whole. I just stated I thought Collazo won because the fight was brought up.

Hatton is more deserving than Eubank imo, by a significant margin too

Not sure about coke, but Moorer was definitely an alcoholic. I dunno if he still is or isnt.

Don’t know why but I didn’t see Calderon and saw Cintron. Lucky I was wrong, was about to get heated.

Yeah i don't blame you. Boxing HOF is questionable at best but luckily hasn't sunk that low.
