Not a damn chance. Outside of a lucky punch Haney makes Ryan look average. Jabs him to death and makes him look silly. Will expose Ryan's bad footwork and defensive holes.

    Timing beats speed.

Me too while everyone was raving about Shakur being the next big thing since sliced bread Haney was winning important fights. Wins over Kambozo, Loma and now Regis shits over anything that goofy chipmunk faced fucker has done. People are comparing him to Mayweather and obviously he's nowhere in that caliber but he's on the right track.

Boots would kill him. Regis is a small guy not even in the same weight class.

The only logical fight for Regis now is a Taylor rematch.

Both guys are faded. Neither has a shot in Hell against elite guys at 147.

Might as well run it back.

I said similar to this back when Tank fought Rolly. Ryan and Haney know eachother in their as well, I'm sure you know better than I do, but didn't they go like 3-3 in the amateurs?

I thought that the weaknesses Haney showed against Linares could be exploited by Garcia, but Haney has improved a lot since then. Then again, though, how much better can a chin get in a few years?

It'd be cool if this fight is made if Shakur or Lopez won't happen. I reckon Haney takes it, but it'd be an interesting fight to learn more about both.

Now that Regis is fading he's a more attractive opponent with a name vs. a few years ago where the risk/reward ratio kept matches from being made.

Not long ago got into an argument with some persons claiming teo was a lock over haney. How foolish do they look this morning. Haney gives a good drubbing to teo

Anything is possible in boxing. And I also know that just because Kambozo beat the fuck out of Teo and Haney beat Bumbozo two times fairly easily doesn't automatically mean Haney beats Teo. But I keep thinking how Teo had no answers or plan b for a limited fighter like Bumbozo then imagine how this sharper and stronger 140 version of Haney would do vs Teo.

Let's be clear about something: Teofimo would have knocked out the Prograis of last night.

I was more impressed with Haney than i expected to be, personally. Prog might've slipped a bit but Devin looked strong at the weight & went up in my estimations

Yeah I saw the fight lol and it was pretty good. Despite the round where Kambozo got dropped he outboxed and out hustled Teo throughout the entire match. It was a clear victory and I haven't heard anyone claiming that Teo was robbed. Kambozo essentially outperformed and embarrassed Teo.

Bozo in no way ‘beat the fuck out of Fimo’. He had a (fairly ‘hard’) flash knockdown vs a young stupid windmilling Fimo. Despite that, Fimo went on to win the rest of that round, and IMO nearly every round through the rest of the fight. Kambo had NO dominant rounds after that (if you even call it dominant..) and Fimo had several. Fimo beats Kambozo 9/10 times and that was the 1, thanks in part to judges that were just as bewildered by the KD as most fans, failing to grasp that Fimo had that fight well in control afterwards.

Fimo has the power to blaze Haney, and has creative enough offense to connect.

Lopez vs Haney isn't an easy matchup for either. Both have the skill and talent to greatly trouble the other. But I'm still leaning Fimo if he's on his A-game.

Kambosos win over Teo was clearly a fluke, imo.

I doubt it. Fimo wanted no part of the rematch. Not only did Bozo took his undefeated but also took the unified/undisputed from him. This would be the one fight you'd expect a cocky fighter like fimo to run back but never did.

Crazy to think that initially Haney was seen as the weak link of 135 but he manages to do what he set out to do and still keeps proving doubters wrong, me included. He's shown to be an elite level fighter and is going to be a very hard fighter to beat. Have to respect the way he's focuesed and also hungry to keep challenging himself against anyone.

I think after what we've seen from him lately he could very well be a nightmare opponent for anyone, including Shakur, Teo, Tank.

I still have a hunch he is chinny. But maybe it won't hold him back much given his skills.

Who is Haney fighting next??? ROLLY? To pick up another title…and talk shit to Teo. 2 belts to 1…

Since both Teo & Haney will talk a lot of shit, yet won’t step in the ring against each other for another year or 2…I won’t mind seeing Haney vs Rolly next…

Well, I always viewed Ryan as the weakest link. And that's proven to be true. Ryan simply has no substance.

Haney's better than I initially gave him credit for. I'll admit that.

At 140, he's a favorite over Davis and Shakur.

I think we'll see Lopez vs Haney in far less than 2 years. Both have demonstrated a willingness to fight top guys. I have no reason to believe that either is scared of the other. There's also the fact that it'll be a big money fight for both of them. There's now public interest in that fight.

I think it's very possible that we get Haney vs Lopez the end of 2024.
