Is Inoue greater and better than Chocolatito?

REED Isn't Even Debating THAT Sooooo Much...

REED Wants to Know HOW a Guy Can Be Accused of NOT Being Ambitious When He Literally Fought/Beat EVERY Single Beltholder @ 118???:Dont:...

REED Personally Thinks the HBO "Superfly" Card Showed Inoue's INTENT, a Gateway to His AMBITION...Inoue Didn't Fly to America and Appear on HBO JUST to Face Antonio Nieves, There was Clearly a BIGGER Picture in Mind...It Just Never Materialized (Chocolatito KO'ed)....To REED, Inoue SHOWED Ambition @ 115...

You Wanna Say Inoue was LESS than Ambitious BELOW 115, Fine...

& Again, Whether You LIKE the Names @ 118 or Not, ALL of the One's that Possessed World Titles were Defeated by Naoya Inoue...Handily, REED Might Add...Particularly in TODAY's Era of Boxing, REED Thinks it's RIDICULOUS to Label Any UNDISPUTED Champion as Anything OTHER than Ambitious...

    Of Course They're Ambitious...

Let me reiterate the only point I've been trying to make. Inoue has literally taken the easiest route possible to his position.

He missed out all of the top fighters at 108, 112, and 115. For whatever reasons, he never fought Ioka, Gonzalez, Rungvisai, Ancajas, Cuadras, Estrada, Nietes, Viloria, Segura, or Sosa. Not one of them.

Then at 118, he fought a slew of what were seen as extremely easy fights before being surprised by Donaire's amazing showing. Then he spent two years fighting the likes of
Dipaen, Dasmarinas, and Moloney rather than Rigo, Casimero or Oubaali.

Now, I bring Oubaali because Inoue could clearly have made that fight - his brother fought him on Inoue's undercard - and yet, Inoue made no effort to take it. And as for Casimero, Inoue again made little to no effort to try and reopen talks after it fell apart due to COVID.

Inoue has clearly shown he is happy making money in easy fights. This, to me, leaves something to be desired regarding his ambition.

If you have any issue with the facts I've stated, it's your own problem you sad fat fuck.

All good points. Its absurd that a guy that has been at the top for nearly a decade has such a poor resume. As you said, who cares about the titles, his resume still is incredibly poor for a supposedly top p4p guy

I didn't want to be the one to point this out, but it's clear these bigots here are faulting inoue for feasting on hapless whites

Speaking of one of the above points, who would you pick between the current Inoue and the prime Rigo of 11-12 years ago?

Is that one of the above points? What I read was that Inoue avoided the current rigondeaux, you know, the one who hasn't beat a single top 20 bantamweight in his entire* career.

A peak rigondeaux would obviously present problems for any 122 lber in the history of the sport

People who don't have ESPN+ or who want to see the undercard fights may be able to watch the fight on the Lemino website. At least it works here in Japan.

Them 2 Japanese fellas in the co main event beat each other to death for a 70k bonus. The magenta haired kid was getting the better of it for the most part but couldn't remain upright. And afterward looked in terrible shape. Hope he dont croak

Was his hair magenta from the start? I caught it close to the end and thought that was blood in his hair from the other guy's cut.

Inoue looks like one of those Kpop singer with that hair due more than a tough boxer. Goes to show you never judge a book by its Cover. In contrast to Tapales who looks mean as hell.

I don't know enough about Nery's incident to form an opinion. But let's not pretend that testing procedures are infallible. Instances of false positives have been documented. The causes for false positives have been attributed to contamination, equipment sensitivity, and even misinterpretation of results. Do we know if Nery ever provided a b sample to rule out zilpaterol in his system? Just saying you seem a bit judgemental.
