Any thoughts on the Amazing Boy? He’s ranked as the best active Light Flyweight and is a 2-time and current unified champ. His fights are always entertaining because of his fast paced style, good fast accurate puncher but very average defense. Does he have a case as being considered as one of the best 108lb fighter since Jung Koo Chang?
He looks to be a very solid fighter, but Chang was generational, though his prime was relatively short. Teraji doesn't have the speed, firepower, and athleticism of a Chang.
I mean, you could consider him one of the best, but that's only because historically there's like six good fighters at 108. But Kenshiro is indeed a very good fighter, and fun to watch.
Dude was literally running in the later rounds. Very average fighter from what I've seen but this was very entertaining (save for the finish).
I'm thinking he might have hurt his hand and had to put on his track shoes for the last 2 rounds and also must have thought that he won enough rounds to just stay up on his feet. Canizales is also no pushover since he was a former champ, he did the best he could but fell short. Teraji isn't anywhere close to being as skilled as fighters like Chang, Yuh, Finito, Carbajal, etc. but still a pretty good fighter who always brings some fun fights.
Close fight. I think one could make a case for Canizales. I actually thought his were the cleaner shots.
Teraji just fought Akui in a dramatic comeback and it’s just an absolute war. FOTY contender Definitely a future HOFer in my book.
