According to Robert Helenius' recently published biography, Tyson Fury is not acting with all his nonsense, but he is actually nuts.

The book told that when they sparred, in some days Fury was begging to be hit hard to the face. He pulled an Oliver McCall, wandering around aimlessly as if he didn't know where he was and didn't fight back. The next day he could be a demon who trained all out and was unstoppable in sparring.

Helenius' coach assumes that Fury must have some type of hormonal imbalance that isn't under control. If so, that might explain his antics about the Usyk bout too.

And no, this won't affect his all-time standing as a fighter always is a combination of different attributes, but I thought it was an interesting anecdote nevertheless.

We're 3 weeks in for the supposed mega fight between Fury and Usyk and yet I barely see any marketing or advertisement for this one. It's barely gotten much attention, especially compared to Crawford vs Spence and Tank vs Ryan. Makes me wonder if we're gonna see another "postponement" announcement soon.

All sorts of claims that Fury is getting beaten up in sparring....planted stories I'll guess.

Then again he might be back on the dust

Fight postponed. Fury "suffered a cut in sparring."

Saudis should just air fresh paint dry in the main event slot and nobody would notice

During this postponement I could see him hanging out with Hatton and De La Hoya and winning a massive coke-snorting contest

Seems like a pretty bad cut to be honest, not the kind you'd do on purpose to postpone a fight (as it looked like something that could be a factor even after healing, though obviously it can all be smoke and mirrors). However, is it normal to have hard sparing so close to a fight???

On Twitter there is footage of a sparring session...he is wearing headgear. Probably the headgear was too big and he didn't have it secured tightly the punch was able to slip thru..

The footage can be old...because they don't show the aftermath or any blood. It cuts off immediately..after Fury walks away from his sparring partner.

To be fair it does look like a genuinely bad cut. I have had the feeling this whole time though that Fury really doesn't want this.

I think Fury was sorta cornered to take this fight. He was embarrassed against a novice like N’Gannou and he had to take this fight.
