Personally, I see Morrell-Benavidez as the best matchup at 168, not Canelo- Benavidez.

I'm not losing sleep over Canelo-Benavidez not happening. It's pretty apparent that Benavidez is too much for Canelo at this stage.

 

If you could guarantee me benavidez beats the shit out of Alvarez then I'd like to see it. That could happen but doesn't seem all that likely and I could see that matchup being very disappointing

Benavidez isn't nearly as sharp or disciplined or as good defensively as bivol

 

Canelo's less confident than you are.

I don't think the current Canelo can keep up with Benavidez's pace, nor do I think he can deal with Benavidez's physical strength and stamina.
