Yep. Even when I was a kid some basic effort was made by the lowest of the low....brothel creepers, letterman jackets, pork pie hats, braces, some SEMBLANCE of sartorial effort however borrowed or hackneyed.

 

Even though i didn't live in an era where people typically wore suits to casual locations i admire it. I hate the way things have to an almost disgusting level of casualness.

Now you regularly see people in ripped up sweat pants and torn t shirts or even pajamas nearly everywhere. "comfortable"

I find it disgusting. I don't expect people to be wearing tailored suits (even if they could afford it) picking up a loaf of bread from the super market, but for fuck sakes at least have a shower and put on something that exposes things nobody wants to see.
