David Moyes managed Everton on a shoestring budget. When the Premier League exploded into the world all-star league, Everton still fielded players primarily from Northern England, Ireland and Scotland. Somehow Moyes was able to get us to finish 5th through 8th most of those seasons.

Moshiri came in after Moyes was gone and put some real money into the club. But here's the problem. Every time we splashed the cash in a transfer window, we got worse! And it was progressive. We just kept getting worse with each window. But now comes the added bonus.

Not only has he fucked up the transfer windows but he also fucked up the whole business side of things. Point deductions because this fuck can't run the books either.

 

It seemed like West Ham were gonna get a moral victory; not winning the tie, but they came close to handing Leverkusen their first loss. But no, Leverkusen leveled it. Still unbeaten across all competitions. Liverpool is gone. It would require a major upset for Leverkusen to not win Europa.

 

Atalanta marginally better again tonight, can't see Liverpool picking up form for remaining league games...
