I think Haney will make Ryan quit in 10 rounds. He’ll outclass him and frustrate him all night and if Ryan doesn’t get himself KO’d, he’ll mentally give up and the corner will pull him.

 

In 2020 I'd have given Ryan a decent chance. Not now though.

Usually I would give Ryan a puncher chance not because he’s a puncher but because he throws with speed and generates power AND Haney is no genius in that ring he get hit plenty. But Ryan footwork is atrocious & ring IQ is low….

I'm predicting ~300-350k. Anything above 400 I'll be pretty surprised. It has nowhere near the buzz Davis-Garcia had last year.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's a 12-0 UD or something like 10-0 and Garcia quits. I have no faith in that guy.

 

If Garcia is getting stopped then the bookies are offering good value on that. Basically $1.50 for every $1 you place.....plus your $1 back.

So if you bet a buck, you take $2.50 if/when Ryan takes to the canvas like Van Gogh.

I thought that was the best strategy for him against Tank because of Tank's power. Here, he's not in immediate danger because Haney lacks KO power. Therefore, for him to win, I would actually say his best strategy would be to show patience, because Haney is expecting an early attack.

I don't think any strategy will work though. The skill gap is too wide.
