I could see him fighting Pitbull, but it wouldn't be for Pitbull's 140 belt. Cruz would have to bend the knee and come in at whatever catchweight team Ryan wants. But for the money Cruz would get, I'm sure he'd do it.

 

Expanding on that: Pitbull would probably be viewed as too young and dangerous for Ryan. Plus, isn't he PBC?

What I predict will happen next is Ryan fights Jose Ramirez at 147. Makes more sense. Ramirez is now with Golden Boy, and Ramirez is a shell of the fighter he once was. It's a good matchup for Ryan and it would do big business on the west coast.

 

Or Barrios. Thats a winnable fight for Ryan.

 

I see Ramirez as more likely because he has a west coast fanbase. No one gives a shit about Barrios.
