We just had Garcia beating Haney while coming in 3 pounds over the limit. What are some other examples of fights that still went on and the overweight fighter ended up becoming the victor?

Are we talking about not making the weight, like Adrien Broner vs. Ashley Theophane, or literally fat, like Andy Ruiz vs. Anthony Joshua and a bunch of David Tua fights

 

IIRC Gatti made the weight, albeit in scandalous circumstances

Yes. Bystanders said he barely stepped on the scale and off and they announced 141 lbs. At fight time, Gatti was 161 & Gamache was 146.

 

Humans will still be watching that 3 piece by Gatti in 1000 years time.

 

Brutal. So was Cintron finishing of Walter Matthyse. Walter Matthyse had never been down before that fight.

 

I don't ever rewatch it. It's disgusting.

I can respect Gatti's KOs of Rodriguez and Ruelas, but not the Gamache KO.
