Exactly. Call Bozo's win a fluke, the real miracle is Lopez surviving. Doctors everywhere must be studying his case feverishly.
I expect Loma to make easy work on Kambosos. We’ll know if Loma is really done at the top level if he has a hard time with him. Kambosos is a one hit wonder fighter who got by from one shock win over Lopez who is mentally all over the place.
I wonder what new Art of War strategy Kambosos will use? We saw him use "deception" to devastating effect against Haney after he missed weight and deceived everyone that he could win, then lost badly. Deception employed at its finest. I guess Kambosos could use a walled city strategy (lock the doors to the fight venue keeping Loma out) or forage on the enemy's provisions (steal Loma's Gatorade), or perhaps even march through the country when the enemy is not (not even turn up to the fight).
I bet $100 to win $410 on Loma win by stoppage. I think he has a point to prove and will catch Kambosos cold at some stage.
Kambosos believes he can win. Whether this is just more "Art of War deception" silliness I'm not sure. I suspect both guys want the other to come to them on the front foot, so equally it could be a twinkletoes jab and grab stinkfest. But I suspect Loma will end up dictating the fight and knock Kambosos out.
If Loma beats Bozos and Shakur beats Harutyunyan in July, then Top Rank will make Loma vs Shakur. Guessing by late 2024. I know people have jumped off the Shakur train, but I still think Shakur will beat Loma. He's a more talented and skilled operator than Haney.
Perhaps, but he didn't duck anyone and took the hard fights despite said lack of talent. But yeah, it's a career based primarily on one nice punch and a complete unravelling by Lopez. I'd like them to run it back one day, and have heard whispers that Team Kambosos are trying to line it up if he loses vs Loma.
The rematch isn't happening anytime soon. Teo is looking at bigger fights. He'd especially have nothing to gain if Bozos loses again. Bozos will become just a stepping stone for prospects after tonight.
I figure Loma had Haney dancing around like a baby giraffe from shots he didn't see coming, so he's likely to land even more of those against Kambosos, who will fall firmly into "leap amateur" category if he looks bad tonite.
Interesting... many are predicting a vintage Lomachenko victory by stoppage. However Kambosos' resilience is evident in his fights against big punchers like Teofimo Lopez and going the distance with Haney(well thats not really saying much jk), suggests otherwise. As far as I know he's never been stopped. I think Lomachenko's power is being overrated...his track record of knockouts is not substantial. Even in the Commey fight, where he had a chance for a stoppage, he seemed hesitant. So, why the sudden surge in predictions favoring Lomachenko for a KO?. My parlay bet rests on Lomachenko winning by decision as I have already secured 3 picks the Blue Jays, Decision wins of Jeffers and Price. I seriously doubt Loma's ability to secure a stoppage against Kambosos. What am I missing guys is Kam weigh drained or something?
I reckon Kambosos will eventually try to walk down Loma and get rinsed with something he doesn't see coming, perhaps a couple of knockdowns then a ref's stoppage?
Kambosos is the perfect style to make old small Loma look like vintage Loma… that ring tonight looks huge
Good to see Guevara get a deserved decision. All his 4 losses were split or majority decisions in his opponents back yard
