On paper, Spence SHOULD win... the old Spence would. But you never ever know how a guy will recover from a beating like the one he took. So Fundora is a live underdog.
I don’t think Errol is the same but Fundora is one of those guys who’s a perfect opponent for him. Light puncher, not very fast handed, hittable. Tszyu would have beaten him had it not been for the cut. Im gonna say Spence wins a UD or grinds him down for a late stoppage.
I wouldn't call Fundora a light puncher. I give him a shot to win. The key for Spence will be his body attack, but that will give Fundora plenty of openings.
I'm with Doub. If Spence isn't as quick and as sharp as he used to be, then Fundora can catch him with uppercuts coming in. It's an interesting matchup that will let us know how much Spence has left. Looking forward to it.
Should be a good fight. I think it all comes down to if Spence is still has it. If he’s as good as he was pre-Crawford then we might have ourselves a fun scrap. Fundora needs to use his height and length to his advantage much like he did against Tszyu.
If Spence is even in Ugas fight form, he'll win. But for all we know, Bud might have ruined him. That's what makes it compelling.
Im hoping that this fight ends up being at least almost as good as Spence vs Porter or Fundora vs Lubin. Those were FOTY contender type fights and if their styles mesh well we might see another great fight with these two. But again it all depends on how much damage Spence has taken from the Crawford fight.
Did he ruin him or was spence damaged goods? I dont think Pre accident Spence struggles with Ugas. Ugas whos not a hard puncher really hurt Spence in that fight.

This has been addressed so many times. By Spence himself and by REED. Spence was conscious of his false teeth and thought they had fallen out. As a result, he lost focus and Ugas caught him unguarded and momentarily buzzed him. Short of that one moment it was a one sided fight.
Spence implied on social media that the Fundora fight might be his last. So you have a damaged goods old guy already looking at retirement versus a still young and hungry kid. Yeah, Fundora is a live underdog.
I have a feeling we've seen the last of Spence. His cheap Jamaican ass has probably saved up enough to retire on. I honestly don't think he wants to do this anymore, and I don't blame him.
