The fight is no longer as important or relevant as it was, and so my interest had declined accordingly. I thought Catt was properly robbed first time round and expect him to win handily this time around. MTF
I think Catterall wins again. I also think he's a bit underrated. His style is quite ugly and doesn't make for exciting fights but he wins rounds consistently.
In order for Taylor to win, he has to perform at the level of the Prograis fight. But that was 5 years ago and Josh isn't that fighter anymore. Taylor might win, but most likely outcome is Catterall by UD.
I’m gonna go with Catterrall. He won close but clear last time, and I think Taylor now just doesn’t have it anymore. The beating he got from Teo doesn’t help either. Catterrall might even stop him, honestly.
Yeah, a Catt late stoppage wouldn't surprise me. Everything indicates that Josh's fast lifestyle has caught up to him.
Maybe. Catt is due some big fights and a decent payday. He's nothing special but he's effective enough and he absolutely won the first Taylor fight, so it'd be nice to see him make a bit of something for himself. MTF
Taylor seriously winds Catterall up and if Catterall lets his emotions get the better of him on the night, it's anyone's fight. If Catterall keeps his head and sticks to his boxing, he'll win.
Look at him. Looks like he's aged 20 years since the Prograis and Ramirez fights: This is Jack's fight to lose imo.
IF Taylor does win, a possibility I could see at welter is him getting fed to Ennis. That fight is possible now with Boots at Matchroom.
We'll see. I admit that Josh looked better at the weigh-in than I thought he'd look. Both guys looked good at the weigh-in. I still question how much Josh has left in the tank. I also suspect that Jack might just be a bad style for him. Catterall by UD is still my pick. Taylor of course is fully capable of doing it though.
Watching Clarke v Wardley on the other side while waiting for this. It's been an absolute cracker of a fight. If you aren't watching it, tune in. MTF
Last round of Clarke v Wardley. No idea whose winning this. Been an absolute war. Brutal, brilliant effort from both. MTF
That was one of the best fights I can remember. How on earth that went the distance I do not know. If you didn't watch it, you've missed out. MTF
They scored it a draw. Someone needed to win that. They don't need to do it again. That sort of fight is seriously life-shortening. The draw was probably fair. I'd no idea who won, so it makes sense. But to have no winner after that sort of fight just feels off. MTF
Oh, I don't think it's on over here then. Taylor-Catt is on ESPN for us. It's on DAZN for the rest of the world.
