And we're talking about a Loma who's probably half as good as he was a few years ago. His defense isn't as sharp, his stamina has gone down to mortal levels and I'm not sure he's as fast as he used to be. And still Tank would want no parts of him.
Davis definitely ain't scared of anyone around those weights. Whether his handlers prefer to avoid certain guys like Stevenson or maybe lomachenko is another story But wtf would he be scared of non punchers based on HOW he fights?
exactly how I feel. I actually thought Martin might win this fight. The long layoff,..the way Davis acted leading up to this. Martin is a good fighter,..landed some good shots and up to the KO, I thought that Martin was up by at least a point. Boom. Davis is one of those fighters that gets stronger as the fight goes on. Slow starter,.. But all it takes is an opening and it’s over Gervanta is so humble after fights be that way all the time bro
Post fight press conference. Davis seems to essentially be a good dude who is more mature than I thought
I didn't really like davis and how Mayweather Jr protected him early on but the kid can flat out fight and his strengths are potent and it will take a superb boxer to stay away from him for 12. When he faces a more skipped puncher we will see how good his chin and willingness really are
He has faced “skipped” punchers. Cruz and Garcia can punch. Tank’s chin is solid as a MF,…especially for his style. His cardio is fucking off the chain
Martin had enough success that I still feel Shakur can pull it off. But Shakur will be the underdog and rightfully so. I also won't pretend like there's a very real possibility that Shakur gets laid out.
I don’t think it was a great performance by Tank. It was a great KO. But he struggled with a guy who put a jab in his face and gave him movement. It’s why I give Loma a good chance even today.
I honestly think Tank is much better than I’ve given him credit for over the years. Hes more than just a Deontay Wilder type that relies on his power to bail him out. Yeah he does tend to start slow and his defense is so-so but he’s got sharp counters and underrated ring IQ that makes him dangerous as the fight goes on. He’s not perfect and he is beatable but you need to have a lot in your arsenal in order to beat Tank.
Cruz isn't a big belter and garcia is not a skilled guy. Raw talent and they depleted his bitchass too
Davis isn’t perfect. But he’s got off the chart cardio,..relentless power, a solid chin,..and he doesn’t get flustered. And when he explodes…tremendous hand speed
Even though Martin won the first few rounds, at no point did I feel like he was gonna pull it off. Tank was backing him up the from the start, and I knew it was only a matter of time. If Shakur is gonna beat Tank, he'll have to keep the fight in center ring all night.
Tank has power but more than that he is a really skilled offensive fighter. His shots are well timed and accurate. Saying he is just a big puncher really sells him short.

BTW, just watched the highlights of Benavidez and Gvozdyk and shocking how smaller Benavidez looked. I think we can put to rest the ''Benavidez is too big'' excuse for Canelo
My thoughts on Bena vs Canelo haven't changed. Bena beats Canelo up imo. Of course Benavidez can't beat Bivol or Beter. But Canelo can't either.
