Yeah I overestimated them. This is not the quality of the two World Cup final appearances.

Different style of players. While France have been very good the last 8 years or so I think the team that won the World Cup in 98 and followed up with a Euro were superior overall.

Jota will score the winner. Why?

Because it's Hamburg. The Liverpool of Germany.

If Jota scored the winner Ronaldo would have pouted if Jota didn't pass to him even if he was marked by three defenders is own half.

Don't ask me why, but I really have a gut feeling that this thing is in fact "coming home."

Ok.....who now doubts that it's all there for England? Fuck me if it isn't all falling into place. Mbappe is broke to bits. Spain are banned, injured, exhausted.

There was definitely a lack of quality in front of goal from both France and Portugal. It was a shame because some of the build up play was impressive. What was impressive were France's penalties.

I was very impressed with Germany. Their style of play is a joy to watch.

I wouldn't be writing off France. They can go up a level or two I feel.

All the talk after the France-Portugal game is about bloody Ronaldo. I honestly can't wait until he retires for good. It's always about him and for Ronaldo himself, it's always about me, me, me. He's shot. I don't understand why he was selected to start when there are other players waiting in the wings.

I picked England over Spain in the final at the beginning of the tournament.

I just don't understand Southgate's thinking to play Saka at left wing back when he doesn't play that position for club or country. Just play Gordon on the left. It's not rocket science.

This Switzerland side is extremely well organized. They rarely get caught out of position and don't leave a lot of openings. While it won't be easy i think England has offensive weapons while the Swiss are lacking. Whether it be Kane there to pick up a garbage goal out of nothing or it's a moment of inspiration from the likes of Bellendingham England are favored to find a break through.

I see it being one moment of inspiration too. I predicted 2-1 England but more likely there will he just one goal in it. It's still annoying seeing players being played out of position where there are players on the bench who could easily do a job where they naturally play. But let's see what unfolds and hopefully England get the win.
