Pretty much confirmed to take place in December. Not sure why they have to wait 6 months though.. x.com
I'm definitely more excited for the rematch as I had zero interest in fight 1 and expected a boring dud and it was actually a fun fight
So the IBF have stripped their champion because he won't fight a mandatory against a bloke he brayed already but will instead sanction a 'title' fight between said bloke and their next highest ranked fighter, who the stripped champ has beaten already, too. Twice. Farcical. MTF
ddDubious has a great case for a rematch after how that shit show played out. he KNOCKED USYK OUT i commend the IBFelonious because we end up getting the best possible match up.
DuBois has a big quivering lip and Hapsburg jaw that makes him look like some sort of dopey soft lad .
I don't like stripping Usyk of the title to give it to Dubois, it feels cheap and pointless. However, Joshua vs Dubois is an excellent fight IMO, and if this is what it took to get it over the line then it's not the worst decision. Especially given that now Usyk already won undisputed, it's not as bad as if it was before the Fury fight.
@ade.oladipo told me it went down with @anthonyjoshua and @dynamite_daniel_dubois but never thought it was like this on the last note what the hell was security gonna do big up his Excellency @turkialalshik can’t wait for the 21st of September | Spencer Fearon | Puff Daddy · Victory (feat. The Notorious B.I.G. & Busta Rhymes) Really can't wait for AJ-Dubois. Should be a war.

Stemming from a Sparring Rumor, Correct???...Dubois Getting the Best of Joshua or Vice Versa???... REED
The rumour was Dubios got the better of AJ. This was in maybe 2018, so the validity is questionable. I'm not sure Dubois was good enough in 2018 to beat up the then heavyweight champ.
In a Strange Way, REED Could Actually Fathom It... Pre-Joyce Dubois, Excited, Eager to Prove Himself, AGGRESSIVE...REED's Also Read Joshua's Sparring was VERY "Light" in the McCracken Days, Bordering on that Weird Ass Anthony Yarde/Tundi Ajaye No Sparring Bullshit... So Yeah, REED Could See a Spunky Dubois Having a Good SPARRING Day vs. Joshua...There's SOMETHING There btwn Them, Obviously...That Said, REED Thinks Ben Davidson May Have Cracked Joshua's Code, Somewhat...MENTALLY, Joshua's as Good as he's Ever Been, in REED's Opinion..."Stronger" Mentally, Under Davidson... While REED Still Can't UNSEE the Ruiz Fight, he Thinks Joshua Does Dubois in Ngannou Fashion...Swift and Rather Early... REED
ddDubious isnt very good but he sure did come much closer to defeating Usyk in their fight. Hurting Usyk more than Joshua managed in 24 rounds
Simply put they're both Black British Londoners in the same division at the same time in the exact same condition, looking for redemption and staring across the landscape, domestically and internationally, and seeing only each other . Two fairly large fish in a shrinking pond with only so much oxygen left to go around. Any historical molehill becomes a massive media mountain in those conditions.
