The players are there. They just need someone who will use them properly.

Aye. A strong personality. Who'll get the big personalities to tow the line. Who's tactically flexible. With a slightly defensive bent that translates well in knock out fitbaw. Someone like that :D

Jose is an absolute busted flush. He's nothing left bar bitterness and stubborn insolence. No ta.

I would not want Jose, either. Too big an ego. You need someone who isn't going to throw his toys out of the pram and Jose is known to do that. Often.

The only scope for improvement is WINNING a tournament. That's how it will be interpreted. They already smash everyone's arses in qualifying. That's taken for granted. As is semis and finals.

    So how's he gonna improve?

Smash North Macedonia 8-0 with flowing football?!

Kalvin Phillips has come out saying he doesn't think we have a natural replacement for Southgate.

I think their chances of winning the next tournament would be improved by not playing shite. A good manager must look at that personell, look at southgates coaching and fancy it

Howe would be my first choice. I wouldn't mind Potter to be fair, I think he's a little underrated after the Chelsea disaster. That club is just a mess.

Klopp would be amazing, it's an outside runner but not completely outside the realm of possibility.

Brighton managers are a bit like red bull managers i think, they tend to get credit for success thats more down to club structure

Klopp would definitely be a popular pick

Not just Brighton, what he did in Sweden was impressive too.

Klopp would be great. He would get absolutely everything out of those attacking players.

Ah ok. It's always about them.

Phillips stays at Leeds doing man of war stuff for Leeds and he's probably in contention for a place at 2024.

Instead he went to City then beclowned himself at West Ham and Southgate - who dropped Grealish and Mings and Reese what's his name- is the bad guy.

Suddenly it's score settling time for dropped guys.

Looking forward to Rashfords hot take lol

If you take Southgate out after Coles equaliser and stick Postecoglu in then England have a chance to win that game.

Next guy needs the conservative aspects of Southgate with a reckless killer instinct of Postecoglu.

Ray Leonard didn't get past Hearns by boxing him. Hagler didn't either.

Sometimes you just gotta go GITTEM! Fundamentals go out the window. You aren't out boxing him, you're out of rounds, now go push your hands into his face and fucking chase him around and hit him and bully him and get in there.

It was Joe Frazier time after that equaliser. It was Liverpool Vs Milan in Istanbul. You can't out finesse them you've got to go after them and who cares if you look awkward and ungainly or you're crossing your feet.

    Hit them.

That's true but there is baggage. It's always about Jose. It's unsettling. It's a distraction.

I'd love to step out with Kanye West missus. But after a while I'd be getting into fights left and right and probably with her too.

    Tempting but .....

Yeah they fired Poch too. You can't dismiss Potter simply because "Chelsea". I just think he's a Moyes specialist. The man who gets blood out of stones when nothing more is expected of him. But a finisher? No.

David Moyes did likewise for West Ham. That conference thing is dreck.

Jose's style of fitba now is absolutely awful and his attitude is rotten.

In fairness, he came close to winning the Premier League and Champions League with TOTTENHAM, before they remembered right at the end that they were Tottenham :Jest:

I like Keane and Wright. It's kind of mad they've become best mates since retiring. I get why people get pissed off at Keane's grumpiness but I quite like it as long as it's balanced out with a personality like Wright.
