Tuchel mentioned for England, awful idea, can't see him as a successful international coach at all, Def not England anyhow, not enough good vibes and touchy feely, too confrontational. Poch is more good vibes but I'm not that convinced. If it's an Englishman they want, has to be Eddie Howe. Yes he's in a bigger job currently but that Newcastle job could turn on him this year, could be a tricky year for a club that will struggle to improve much on this years standing.

It'd be very suprised if NUFC don't finish in the top six next season. Tonali is back in a few weeks and there's a good chunk of cash to spend now that the ridiculous PSR deadline has passed. We've an upgraded DOF and other key exec staff, too. Besides, Villa will suffer the same fate we did last year - that squad can't compete on all fronts again next season.

Villa were in Europe last season & lasted much longer than Newcastle did.

Big difference between the conference thing and the CL. In the early rounds, Emery basically played his reserves knowing they'd do the job. There is no such luxury in the group stage of the CL.

I think Villa will throw everything into the Champions League and do surprisingly well. Not win it or anything but they'll pull up some trees. League form will suffer though.

Some insight of why the Uruguay players went into the stands against Colombia.

The section of Uruguayan families of the players were surrounded by Colombian fans who were giving them grief all night.

The US does not section off fans from one another as they do in Europe & South America. We should .

It'll depend on their group. We got an absolute death group and were a 96th minute penalty robbery away from qualifying from it. Villa have a good first eleven and are very good at home, so with a fair wind, they should do fine.

He might be able to get them a trophy but it seems he's not a long term solution for any team anywhere.

Ha. Not at all. I'm all for inclusivity and diversity, as long as you're qualified for the role. These words are being thrown around so much nowadays, like a part of a bandwagon and everyone has to jump on, or fear being swept to one side.

Exactly. What England need for a manager is an obese transgender black muslim in a wheelchair. Anything else would be siding with Hitler.

The Football Association has one job:- to proceed on a footing guaranteed to maximise the potential of winning the next Euros, which they host.

Instead, they're out there looking for Shamima the Crippled Tranny.

Look, it's simple: Weigman, manager if "The Lionesses' is a proven winner.

    Get her in.

    Sorted!

    Right?

    Right?

Everton were down 3-1 to Seamus Coleman's old club, Sligo Rovers. Chermiti scored a late brace for the draw. Everton played a mixture of the second team and the U21s. Eleven changes at HT.

My brother started following the Premier League over the last year. He picked West Ham as his team. So I have been following them and trying to guide him through how shit works in England.

I did as well as Green Street Hooligans.

Actually we're going to England in a few months. I haven't been since the beginning of lockdown (March '20.)
