Unexpectedly Great Boxer Interviews I just came across an interview with Victor Ortiz and it really caught me off guard. I always had this impression of him as just a typical dumb jock not someone you'd expect to be particularly engaging or deep. But man was I wrong. He's got some wild stories and a pretty unique personality that makes for a really entertaining story teller. His life story is a rollercoaster and I found myself getting drawn in way more than I expected. It got me thinking...there's probably a bunch of interviews out there with boxers who might surprise us whether it's their backstory, their personality or are just good story tellers.. I figured I'll kick things off by posting the Ortiz interview and I'd love to see what interviews you all have found that deserve a shout-out.
I get where you're coming from. I know a lot of people label Vlad from VladTV as a narc but I actually appreciate his interviewing style. Instead of kissing up to his guests he asks the tough questions and isn’t afraid to make his guest look stupid. It’s refreshing to see that honesty compared to some YouTubers who just worship the personalities they interview and are more focused on staying cool with them/ Kissing ass.
Wow. An untrustworthy Jewish Ukrainian who regards himself as alongside - if not steeped- in hiphop culture turns out to be a fed sleeper. Well I never .
Barrera podcast? Is a hidden Gem if you understand Spanish… https://youtube.com/shorts/-sRrqUCLlUs?si=Bv94DZsinzQagykb
Oh yeah the good ol' Barrera-Morales podcast. Too bad the illiterate Indian Morales couldn't leave his ego at the door. Had a good thing going for a minute.
