Agreed but Leicester are an outlier. They were supposed to finish 15th every year lol

Guardiola is what I always suspected he was.

Put an elite, world class team with zero injuries in front of him, he does better managing that team than most of his peers.

Any kind of hardship where he actually has to utilise less-than-stellar resources etc, he can't do it. He's had the easiest jobs going from the off and he's been found wanting when the chips are down.

Why did city collapse so badly?
Yes. Because this isn't a slip. This is a total collapse. 1 win in 13 is wretched. It's guaranteed to get you fired at ANY club in the league.

    He's the anti-Moyes or the anti-Allardyce.

Massively talented a bit of an attitude problem on & off the pitch. Id rank him & Viduka as close candidates for the second most talented striker ive seen in my time.... but Sutton romps ahead as second best via intangibles, work rate

His Celtic team were mad....Di Canio, Collins, Thom, Cadette, McStay & Van Hooijdonk coming at defences. Then...gordon marshall or Stewart Kerr in goals. It was like drone swarm airsupport for some drunk guys in facepaint swinging claymores. Tommy Burns: defendings for huns, we're better than that

Liverpool the same in that era. The Julian Letterlough of teams. Could destroy anything they hit, but usually got hit first.

I read van Hoijdonk lost £2m investing in a fake chinese textiles plant lolz..

Yeah it says alot for the amount of striking talent England in that era had that he only got one cap. 25 odd league goals for Norwich & Blackburn & he wasnt a poacher, he was an all round grafter & contributor

Celtic finish the calender year with only two defeats in all competitions. The previous record was six defeats in Martin O'Neil first full year and in....1903

Feebles the bookies have NUFC as rank outsiders to win the EFL Cup. Any opinions?

    Arsenal
    Liverpool.
    Spurs
    Newcastle

    In that order.

Right now I'd say that Newcastle have a better shot than Spurs.

Liverpool played like champions today, January should be good for them bar Forest at home and Man U should be straightforward because they're poor but they are capable of the odd performance so it's never guaranteed.

Arsenal have a proper gruelling 6 weeks coming up too they'll do well to go in to March only 9 points behind. At the risk of counting chickens Chelsea losing to Fulham almost feels decisive

I can see them being kingmakers rather than kings BUT .....Leicester.

Chris Wood imho is having as good a season as Cole Palmer but he's dismissed as a sort of a Donkey..

I think Forest could replicate Leciesters point total and finish third these days. Liverpool will be north of 90 points
