    1. Southgates Knighthood is a combination of failing upwards and being rewarded for same AND his religious adherence to the Woke Agenda.

On talkSHITE tonight they got into a hermeneutic (not that they knew) debate about what defined a proper knighthood. They attempted to reach this definition by relating to what other KBE'S- Ferguson,Dalglish, Robson- had done to warrant this award.

They never paused to compare Southgate with other people who hadn't gotten a knighthood but should have. Clough is the obvious example. Ranieiri is a less obvious one.

Had they done so, they'd have settled the argument. Southgate is getting a knighthood because he's a good nice man who doesn't do what he's told because they don't have to tell him. He's the perfect boy.

    2. I fucking despise the reverence and sympathy with which Amorim is being interviewed and the entire elephant-in-the-room manner this "United question" is being dealt with.

What is it they want to say? They're acting as if somebody picked United's fucking pocket. United have SPUNKED A BILLION quid FFS. This is just United being forced to deal with some actual competition where they can't get David Dein or Fergie to bail them out by threatening referees or "having a word with the FA".

Newcastle could have been 5 up at half time. Nobody likes Man U and nobody is afraid of them and I would LOVE IT if Liverpool fucking ended them this Sunday.

United won their titles by scaring referees and having sycophantic "opposition" managers ready to fall over for them. They had a fawning press the dregs of whom are still active and treating them like it was 1958 again.

Same cunts PILED IN as soon as they smelled blood around Wenger or Benitez or Keegan. Then they act shocked when United fans bood Zerkzees off the field. I saw the same United fans in the Coventry game (FA CUP) last year.

Deluded mongberrys who were full of piss and vinegar at 3-0 and DISAPPEARED at 3-3.

Chelsea surely done for now in terms of the title race. Always thought they were over achieving tbh. One world class player in Palmer and then a bunch of talented individuals. Annoyingly I have to admit they'll be a title threat in coming seasons if they play their cards right but at least for this season they're too far off Liverpool now.

Hopefully but you never can tell with Liverpool. There's no way a decent side would let Chelsea close that gap now. They had their chance at Goodison to cut it to 2 points now in the blink of an eye it's 10 with a game in hand. lol

I think Forest should submit a bid for Palmer. Shit them right up. Newcastle right up Chelsea's arse now too. Chelsea not getting top 5 would be newsworthy. I wonder what the excuse would be.....

We've more chance than Spurs, who are shite (I'll obviously look like a plum if they beat us Saturday), but beating Arsenal over two legs and then almost certainly Liverpool at Wembley is probably too much to ask. I'm not overly excited tbh. I just don't see us doing it.

We blew our big chance in 2023. That Man U team was shite - we've beaten them in four of five games since and we completely shit the bed in that final.

Wood was a willing hand at NUFC but I didn't bat an eyelid when we sold him. Genuinely astonished at how he's playing those year. Wouldn't have seen it coming in a billion years.

Celtic looked pure pish yesterday, borderline disinterested. They wanted it more etc. But it's the 4th proper game in a row (Brugge, Zagreb, Rangers, Rangers) which has followed the same pattern with us at ~65% possession but a comparable or lower xg than opposition. Each has stood way off our defence in build up as we play sideways for minutes at a time but man marked the midfield, hard. Clement basically just lifted the strategy. No real answer to it, so far.

Honestly I wasn't surprised.....that's Rangers season done now. A few more Light Brigade charges in Europe, perhaps, but curtains generally. No longer the most successful club in the World not even the most successful club in Scotland lol lol

    £2000 a week for a 4th tier player .

That's probably better money over annum than a middling boxer makes.

Yep a draw (current score at 80 min) would probably be fair reflection. United-Liverpool games are a different kind of game, form can go out the window. The question is whether the result will impact on Liverpool's momentum. It means nothing for united, they will probably go back to being shit next week anyhow.

The good thing is that everyone else fucked up too so it's as you were, plus they still have a game in hand on Arsenal.

Yes. Arsenal and Chelsea drawing yesterday really means Liverpool had latitude today. The weather, United being United, etc, Liverpool did well to eke it out today imho. Arsenal and Chelsea will look at this as a missed opportunity. 6 clear, game in hand, much better than the situation the last time we drew 2-2.
