By the grace of the boxing Gods, we'll get to hear "Tale of the tape!" one last time.

I wonder if Turki will hire Roy to work along side Jim. I think it's very possible.

I hope this goes over better than the last time an Arab planned an event in NYC.

I would love for Roy Jones Jr and Max Kellerman to join as well. The HBO Boxing crew were very memorable.

Lamps has done recent interviews. He still follows the sport closely.

I'd be interested to know how closely Kellerman is still following.

Max has been totally MIA since ESPN fired him. Or more accurately, Snake A Smith had him fired.

I remember listening to HBO broadcasts for the first time around the early 2000s and it was really something to read on forums so many people complaining about HBO commentary. They clearly had not been exposed to British commentary (Adam fucking Smith!!)

Stephen A. Smith is annoying and hell and has minimal knowledge of boxing.

I remember him talking about “being unimpressed by watching those tomato cans fight” when a fan asked him his opinion on the Liakhovich-Brewster fight.

I’m pretty sure he didn’t actually watch it, as anyone who watched it would have at least pointed out that it was a good fight (best HW fight of the 21st century to me).

Same mentality on Steve Kim who dismissed Lewis/Sanders Vs Klitschko as mere "brawls" which would have been undercard attraction fights in the 50s.

Dan Rafael once commented on Chris John Vs JMM without having seen the fight.

Bert Sugar talked endless shit. So did/does Thomas Hauser.

Lewis vs klitschko and klitschko vs sanders were both sloppy brawls i was unimpressed by. I attended both

Neither anywhere near among the top 50 fights I've seen live

Good lad..... you're the "Wiser" of general discussion. You probably cried the day they canceled Ring Magazine. No more Nigel Collins specials. Diddums.

That neither were ATG fights or FOTY is neither here nor there. Kim wasn't suddenly expressing sadness over some lost esoteric pugilism, he was upset that the wrong fucking guy was injecting excitement and winning titles.

Anyways let us rejoice that that whole fucking scene is dead and gone. Kellerman, Kim, Katz, Lou DiBella these guys ruled the roost for just too long. Adiós cocksuckers.

I asked a major boxing fan how he ranks lewis klitschko and klitschko sanders. He says he doesn't remember them. But sanders wald pussy and Brewster wald pussy were good action fights

And Steve Kim hasn't gone anywhere. Still covers boxing

Yeah he "covers" it. Fucking hack. Doug Fischer. Another dubious-lineage mixem-gathrum hodgepodge of a fellow, all mixed paints and no foundation. All fucking mascara. Salivating over the latest 12 and Oh 9 stone left handed bum out of San Guatarica.

Kim. Fischer. Hauser. Collins. Borges. Farhood. Kellerman. That cripple Katz. Bums the fucking lot of them.

Is Pedro Fernandez still going? Still fronting his "award winning radio show":rolleyes::D:D

Steve Kim always appears on Jason Whitlock's podcast.

Whitlock calls him "the Korean Cosell."

If you don't enjoy reading or listening to Steve Kim why do you do it?

    Very puzzling

More to the point, if he wants to dismiss a 6'8" 250lb guy firing counters to the body with his back to the ropes as some sort of unskilled oafishness then why the fuck does he follow boxing?

I don't misrepresent talent or skill on the basis of personality or nationality.

Kim does, in which case he should be called out on it.

If Kellerman has an irrational beef with a sizeable section of boxers then maybe he should stick to the Lakers.
