If Crawford whups Canyellow (which I think he will) he's the greatest fighter of this generation. If Canelo wins, then the greatest is Usyk.

    Agree? Disagree?

If Canelo wins impressively or decisively, he would have an argument

I guess he deserves a passing mention, but he has no serious case

Beating Alvarez who looked awful vs scull and couldn't or wouldn't ko ed basura or jaime mungeara is not g0nna push inactive crawford past usyk or inoue. Not based on accomplishments, at least.

Inoue is clearly same generation as crawf0rd. Both been world champions since a month apart 11 years ago

Inoue has fought more than twice as many times the last 5 years

    1. Canyellow has too many gift decisions and clear losses on his resume to surpass Usyk in greatness, even if he wins. Its just a two horse race between Bud and Usyk.

    2. Inoue is indeed the same generation as Bud and Usyk, but he has zero case over them in terms of greatness. Resume too thin. Inoue also has more holes in his game than Crawford and Usyk. I just think they're better than him... and greater.

Greatest fighters of the generation as it stands right now are:

    1. Usyk
    2. Crawford
    3. Inoue
    4. Bivol
    5. Canyellow

Inoue and Bud are Nearly 6 YEARS Apart in Age Though...Their Era's Have Overlapped, But REED Ain't Sure They're of the SAME Generation, so to Speak...

REED Would Be Shocked if Bud EVER Fights Again After Canelo - Win, Lose or Draw...Conversely, Inoue's Got 5-10 ADDITIONAL Fights Left In Him...Or MORE, Considering His 3 Bout Per Year Diet of Late...

Bud's Legacy is Pretty Much WRITTEN Already, Whereas Inoue is Still WRITING His (126, Nakatani, etc.)...

He's among them, but would I consider Choco as good as Crawford/Usyk?

    No.

I dont think he has a real robbery on his resume. The Lara fight was close, but Lara threw that fight away. Trout was a clear win for Canelo. And i dont think losing to PBF or Bivol is that bad for Clenelo. He wasnt completely outclassed in these fights and neither Bud nor Usyk have someone as good as these 2 on his resume.

Edit: Holy damn, how could I have forget the GGG fights. 1st one was definitely a robbery

Canelo is ABSOLUTELY In the Discussion....No One in the Post-Mayweather Era APPROACHES the Number of BIG Fights Canelo Has...That MEANS Something....

Not that I think it's disqualifying, but Canelo was indeed outclassed against both PBF and Bovol. In both fights he won no more than 3 rounds.

A whupping is what Usyk did to Dubois. A fat Crawford isn't going to do that to even an aging Canelo.

And yes, Usyk i think in my mind is the best fighter of his generation, despite being out-boxed by a guy Crawford khtfko'd

Id have Gonzalez right up there as #1 or #2 with Usyk as if right now. If Crawford beats Canelo, then I'm happy for that to change completely with Crawford at #1.

In terms of who the actual best fighter in the ring is, it's definitely Crawford imo. He's a monster.

Shit Alvarez musta been competitive with Mayweather jr. 1 judge had it a draw! I guess you can win rounds without landing punches

Disagree. Canelo had significant wins in four weight classes. Ward fought in two weight classes and never got the big fight with GGG.

I guess that depends whether you think Alvarez actually won either of the first 2 golovkin fights when he had something left
