    No contest here

Has ed basura even beaten a top 20 opponent in super middle?

Tszyu beating mendoza and harrison alone completely shits on that frauds competition

Tszyu's ACCOMPLISHED More than Berlanga, Obviously...But After Last Night, Does Tszyu Have a Brighter FUTURE than Berlanga, Who Admittedly Has a Pretty DIM Boxing Future Himself???...

Tszyu can still be in some decent fights as an opponent if he wants to keep going

He landed some hard shots on fundora at times and fundora is a top 5 guy in that division

Ed basura SUCKS. He won't be competitive with anyone decent, ever

Honestly I read your initial post as whos done more, not more done :Jest:

Neither exactly bright. Tszyus career looks more like a dimly lit after hours night club where as bumlangas is a dirt road in a backwoods town in bumfuk, Mississippi during an eclipse

Tszyu can still be a tune up for guys coming up from 147...and could still win one trinket vs the RIGHT opponent....

Berlanga is obnoxious and ignorant....IMO he burned a lot of bridges with his talking. Before the Canelo fight he fought a bunch of C/D level and below fighters. He is not a top guy. Hear he is taking a break from boxing....he is DONE.

So Tsyzu has the brighter future....

They're both done as dog shit, but Bumlanga's future is more dim because he remains delusional and he won't change a thing in how he trains. He's too old and too low IQ to improve his skill-set. He'll lose again the next decent fighter he faces.

Tim is also finished, but he's capable of beating solid level guys. Just not top guys.

Tszyu is completely done. Langa will have more fights at top level. He is already spreading rumours that Sheeraz had loaded handwraps. Tszyu will retire. He took brutal punishment vs Bakram and then was beaten into submission against Fundora. He's a guy who cannot defend himself while he is throwing a left hook and continually gets caught while doing that.

Just saying his attitude will be to push on. Hence the excuses. Tim has no excuses. He's taken two bad beatings now and more likely to retire. Langa will push the excuses and talk his way into other fights.

Probably. It's quite annoying how some of these guys can basically trash talk their way into paydays when their in the ring performances are always lacking.

Good points…I still say Tim has the brighter future….he has his daddy last name, ++the guys in/around his division are bigger stars = more money for Tim to get smashed.

Bumlanga will have to at least string 2-3 victories before he gets another big fight…..BUT the paydays are SMALLER…

Its a good thing that Spence-Fundora didn't happen. Spence would have gotten beaten up and stopped.

Peak Spence could beat Fundora, but sure AF not the current Spence.

Broners resume is trash but he at least won bullshit titles in 4 divisions and beat a few top 10ish opponents in said divisions

Who in the fuck has Ed basura ever defeated? What are his top 3 wins ?

Roamer angulo, Steve rolls and quigley?

Every fighter has a prime, Neil. Even non-elite fighters.

Current Plant might struggle with Edgar.

The 26-year-old Plant who took the title from Uzcat would stop Bumlanga in a one sided fight.

Everytime Tszyu fights, it's must-see. His fights are always exciting. Really thought his steady right hands to the body would put him in the clear eventually. That said, my money was literally on Fundora. ;) :crafty:

Berlanga has a brighter future ONLY because he's closer to Jake Paul's weight.

Old Twinkletoes Timmy has binned his entire team of uncles, aunts, grandfathers and Kostya leftovers and hired Jeff Fenech as mentor, plus a new team of younger more hip managers (with good reputations locally I might add).

He plans to move to the US and find a new training camp to embed with, and embark on a magnificent comeback. Chances of him pulling it off and getting back to the top are slim, but not many people know more about the boxing game than Jeff Fenech, and he's already in the US looking around. Tszyu's old team were fucking incompetent in my opinion (and basically everyone else's opinion in boxing in Australia) - blew the first Fundora fight (never should have taken it, then should have got it stopped when they did), turned down a big offer from Turki, threw him in against a killer Chechen in a bingo hall seating 50 people (dumb) when he had PTSD, lined up a bum to feast upon, then had zero gameplan against Fundora #2. Mistake after mistake.

Timmy's manager was Kostya's old security guy, his uncle Igor was his head trainer (never had one fight, never trained one champion), his cutman was at best not very good and there were a bunch of Boomer hangers on basically adding no value except being cheerleaders and cashing cheques. Timmy finally woke up and binned the lot of them.

Boxing legend Fenech headlines Tszyu’s ‘Aussie Super Team’ after career shake-up

Tim could dig up a five-man team of Steward, Dundee, Futch, D'Amato, and Clancy to train him and it still wouldn't help him. He's done.

Yeah agree, at 30 he should pocket his millions and retire. Jeff Fenech told him not to come to the US because every mug in the gym will try to tear his head off for clout - advised him to stay in Australia and fight a few more bums to get your eye in and test out some new techniques. At best, I hope he listens to Fenech. Lets face it, most of the the shots that downed Timmy would have just made Kostya mad.

But really, he needed to change his team after getting clipped and knocked down by pillow fisted Gausha - it was a sign of things to come. But alas, he kept the Boomer clown crew on, and now look.

Nah, his father was a long-term champion as well as a stellar amateur who's been involved in boxing at all steps of his life. I'm pretty sure Kostya would have been vocal about it had he felt they weren't good enough to guide his son.

It's easy to criticize in hindsight but at the time Murtazaliev was pretty much thought of as a paper champ and an easy path to a belt (and truthfully, it's still hard to gauge how good he actually is). Tszyu was listed as a whooping -700 favorite so it's pretty hard to argue his team set him up with a killer (with the info available at the time).

His team is being used as a scapegoat as Timmy's ambition have been found to be greater than his actual talent (which in a way is a credit to him as he could have spent his life fighting bums in Australia and still would have made a fortune).

Edit: just read a bit about Kostya relationship with Tim and supposedly he's far less involved than I thought.

Do you think he should hire Kevin Rooney and work on his head movement?

Yeah, at the end of the day, talent always has and always will separate the elite guys from the merely good/okay guys.

Kostya was extremely talented. Fenech was a generational talent.

Tim simply lacks talent. You can only work around that to a certain extent.

Tszyu still has millions of dollars to earn from fleecing the Australian public…he can probably make that over the next few years from his social media alone

Oh well Tszyu is now training under Abel Sanchez.

    upload_2025-10-11_13-24-13.png

Certainly a step up from Uncle Igor and the crew of Boomers.
