O'Neill lends legitimacy to what is going on. Bad look.

The thing I got totally wrong: turns out Kennedy walked(?) too! I'd love to know what happened there but it'll be like piecing together what happened to those other Kennedys.

Desmond is irate b/c Rodgers drew attention to the boards incompetence. He genuinely thinks the club is well run. He's got his head in a sandbunker and deeply resents it being disturbed.

When Martin O'Neil left 20 years ago 5 of 8 curent boardmembers were there. The head of the youth academy was Chris McCart, as it is today. Stephen Mcmanus who runs the b-team was one of his players, as was Shaun Maloney. The stadium remains untouched. Must be a nice, comforting environment for a 73 year old in a rapidly changing world. Like those psychology experiments where they rejuvenate old folks home residents by giving them decades old newspapers & tv shows

It's his little corner of Earth untouched by things like Moneyball or creatine, I suppose..

It sounds absolutely totally cobwebbed to bits. You get the feeling everything is covered in dust and smells like old piss.

    Time to fuck off.

I don't mind getting old but if prefer if my route to getting old hadn't been ruined by some cunt who was already old.

The only hope is Hearts. The board are untouched by football outside Scotland but when Bloom has Hearts going for 3 in a row after starting with 10% of our budget modernity will be unavoidable.

Hard to say. Embarrassment of offensive options. Death of Jota. Failure to sign Guehi. Konaté mind already abroad.

Some refereeing performance that at Hampden yesterday, they really pushed how much they could get away with. To no avail, oh well

Rangers penalty, our disallowed goal and the non-red card for the tackle on Sarachi are all....contentious at best. For all three to go the same way invites suspicion. But more blatant still were the 8 or 10 smaller decisions designed to pull up the game every time we won the ball back and shaped to counter. The type of small fry calls near the centre circle you can safely make in volume and they'll not make the bbc highlights let alone the monthly SFA public review but which in aggregate probably swing the game by one whole xg. Bullshit fouls and 'tactical' 10 second VAR checks galore. And believe me I'm not one of these fans who thinks every decision against my team is wrong, I'm really not

Celtic were on 4 yellows by like 40 mins. I was listening on the radio at work and it was fucking obvious somebody did not want that game to flow.

Fwiw he's not an absolute world beater but Liam scales has matured into a pretty passable centre back for us over the last couple of years. I've not seen his international performances but for us he's become a composed, solid presence with good distribution. Should really be more of a squad player at a club like Celtic but we are where we are and a few years back he didn't even look like he'd be that so credit to him. Hopefully John Kenny follows a similar arc.

They're missing the most lovable LFC player of our times.

    Bring back Joel Matip!

Barry being useless again. Luckily Ndiaye had the sense to do everything himself on that goal.

At halftime they'll replace Barry with Beto who will be equally worthless.

After being fucked over by refs all year it looks like this one is on our side. I feel bad for Sunderland. They're making up for all the shit calls against us all season but at their expense.

Somebody needs to step up right here and steal three points on the road.

I see Grealish with an assist to Charlie for the match winner!

Get Gana's 46 year-old arse off the pitch!

Though to his credit, he's running harder than some of the guys who just entered the match.

A point away to top 4 Sunderland is probably a good result.

Yes. Especially since they should have had a late penalty on Keane's obvious handball that somehow wasn't called.

The ref and VAR were especially kind to Everton on this day. They must have reviewed the Spurs match where every single call went against us.

Everton's equaliser Vs Spurs was foolishly undone by Everton own player.

Liverpool unfortunately must win Vs City this weekend. Arsenal are a confidence dude if they can have a fire lit under them we can catch them.
