Does Davis have the worst fanbase in boxing history?

Imagine Netflix, a company that brings in 40 billion a year, giving a shit about canceling a hot fight that at best might make them a few mil.

Literally peanuts to them. If they feel Davis is too toxic, they would cancel this thing regardless of ticket sales.

They care more about the possibility of millions of subs canceling their subscriptions due to them featuring a habitual and recent woman beater.

 

I think men who are woman beaters generally do it for one of two reasons: 1. Control, 2. Insecurity.

For Davis, I think its insecurity. I think he's insecure with himself because he's an unintelligent midget and a closet bisexual.

 

If Netflix was concerned about his behavior they would've never chosen him or accepted him as a main event combatant in the first place

Tyson had no recent legal problems. Thats the difference. The other difference is that Mike made himself easy to work with and actually promoted the fight. Tank was an unprofessional asshole who did nothing to help the promotion.

I honestly can't think of a more marquee fighter that had such a poor (as in small) fan base who were themselves clueless.

Oscar had a massive base from purists to casuals to clueless girls who just wanted his bawwwdy.

Guys like Jones Jr had a big fan base of anti-purists.

whatever fan base davis has is probably 3 or 4 times as big as stevensons. guy sold out events in various cities and has sold more ppvs than anyone else is selling these days, vs largely overmatched opposition according to everyone at this forum.
