But for now, that 1-0 win over Real has had a very very nice effect.

How do you keep Vinicius,Bellingham,Mbappe quiet but let Brentford put 3 past you?

    Maddening..

It is a great volley. Zidane's was better (sorry Irish), and since Trevor Sinclair's was technically a volley too, then that also beats it...

There was actually a very similar goal scored the other day, funnily enough. Great take in the air and a beautiful ball from the corner:

Somebody on twitter asked 'what 3 positions do celtic need to strengthen in summer?'. Answer: Director of football, head of recruitment, head of analytics, that's what. There's no point even buying more players while we have these incompetent dinosaurs picking them, it'll just be yet more deadwood to clear out

This thing of premiership players never smilingly when they score annoys me more than it should

This week the celtic board have banned the green brigade for 6 games. Suffered a 'technical fault' which has prevented individual shareholders from transferring their AGM votes to the Celtic collective to vote as a block (surely highly illegal?). And, by sheer coincidence several Celtic fan podcasts who signed up for the fans collective have recieved copyright strikes from YouTube all at once. It's war. And these cunts are too generically incompetent to win.

It's quite alarming, the degree of cross-platform cohesion displayed by these people. It has very strong shades of a lot of what we've seen go down these past 6 years.

They've got advisors that are telling them just how to pull the plug on people.

No reason MoN and Celtic can't catch Hearts. As Hut says, it's a double edged thing if it happens. Negs might outweigh Pos, long term.

We'll probably end up winning it. Being as prehistoric as everybody at Celtic, McInnis isnt playing half the Jamestown guys & playing others out position. Kulturkampf

That flipside of that is when injuries start kicking in there's a chance they actually get better by accident, particularly after another transfer window

Every year around now: my birthday happens. All the Christmas lights go up around town. And the media spends a week talking about Celtic fans booing British soldiers as if they're shocked and outraged anew. I guess traditions are comforting.

It doesn't happen at Everton. We cherish every goal.

Last season Ndiaye got a yellow card for pretending to be a seagull when he scored at Brighton. Beto cried tears of joy after scoring after a long drought. This season Beto has another drought going. The whole season.

Bill Foley, Bournemouth owner, now looking to sell his 25% stake in Hibs after the rest of the board 'reject his vision' for the club. Tony Bloom also facing fierce intransigence in his modernisation of Hearts. You can bring a dinosaur to water but you can't stop him rolling in his own shite if he wants to. Scottish football appears unreformable.

What's his vision? Pies that don't kill you? A stadium that doesn't look like it was built in 1923 from recycled chicken coops?

Var audio for Van Dijks goal Vs City is fucking Rangersesque. It's real "Can you see can you see the rifles, can you see the rifles son, you see the rifles.....Sir, yes Sir,I see the ri....I see the rifles,Sir" stuff.

In hibs potential defence the vision seemed to involve making hibs a kind of feeder club for Bournemouth so maybe the board felt he was acting more in their interests than hibs. My suspicion is they're just deeply conservative/backwards like everyone else in the league. Let's face it, Hibs dream of having players good enough to 'feed" to Bournemouth (so do Celtic rn!).

Aye, I guess. But I've no issue with 'player trading' or whatever personally it just is what it is for pretty much everyone outwith the epl/superclubs now. There's skill & strategy to it like everything else. You gotta admire wee clubs like Bodo, USG, Midtjyland, Braga etc who can use it to outcompete a lumbering shitfor brains outfit like Celtic with 5-10x their starting resources
