Seems like it’s only inevitable for this fight to happen. Should they fight next year who do you see winning?

I got Shakur. Though Teo has a chance. But I think Shakur will be too sharp and too smart for him.

By far Shakur's toughest test to date.

I have no dog in the fight, in terms of who I'm rooting for. I'm not much fond of either one. Both are assholes. I'm just rooting for a good fight.

My head says Shakur wins 9-3 or 8-4.

I hope Teo wins. Shakurs is the better technician and I've got a suspicion that he wins a decision but I don't think it's out of the question for either Lopez to win on points or by stoppage. Very, very good fight.

Shakur most likely wins it but I’m not counting out Teo’s chances. Teo needs to have the same focus he had when he beat Loma, Taylor and Barboza. Would be a shocker to see him pull it off convincingly.

    Great fight.

I think this might be the breakout fight for Shakur and he wins easily, although I'm rooting for Teo and hope I'm wrong.

I think shakur wins, but he's not proven enough for a rout to be a shocker. IiRC he bever was hurt in his career. If Teo hurts him, maybe he folds like a card castle

If Shakur wins this fight, Tank has no choice but to fight him. Otherwise his career is over.

How he wins will make the difference

As expected Teo being a weird trash talker. Some of the stuff that comes out his mouth is just bizarre.

Teo's problem is that he's a trash talker with zero charisma. And that always comes across as awkward. And forced. Very forced. He's from NYC, so he idolizes Tyson and Camacho, but Mike and Hector had shit loads of charisma, so people were engaged by their trash talking. They were also REAL street dudes, Teo is just a poser.

When Tyson was saying all that "I'll fuck you til you love me" shit he was at a point in his life when he was on zoloft, coke, and booze 24-7, so not the best homage to pay. Mike was also trying to mask the fact that he was no longer as confident as he was as a young man.

Is Teo also trying to hide a lack of confidence?

Lopez is a larger step up talent and skill wise from zepeda or valded or whoever you think the best guy Stevenson beat is, than Stevenson is from lomachenko

He very well could. I pick lopez but certainly don't have enough faith to wager any large amount on it, unless the odds became him as a +250 or greater underdog

I'm getting old and boring. I thought about buying tix, but honest to God I'll have more fun watching it on DAZN than driving to the Garden for it.

I haven't been to the Garden since Crawford-Khan. And very ironically, both Shakur and Teo were on the UC.

Maybe id go if it was here, but I doubt it's an entertaining fight. Maybe Lopez hurts him at some point. Otherwise I expect a slow paced tactical affair

Lopez nearly died vs kambozo! That was an anomaly in my book. Lopez fought dumb as fuck, took the guy very lightly and stuck around 135 longer than he should've. All that said he still nearly stopped that aussie vagrant. Obviously if he shows up with that type gameplan and in that condition Stevenson should not only beat him but stop him. Stevenson said in the interview with reeno be would he foolish to expect to face that version of lopeZ

martin and Ortiz fought very awkward, negative fights. Martin always does so his performance was to be expected. Hes a very good and difficult opponent despite his innate stink. I actually went to lopez Ortiz so I have plenty venom for that pussy and his antics. FUCK cowardly jAmaine. Hopefully he remains in obscurity the rest of his natural life and is never on any widely viewed televised boxing card again

If Stevenson wants to fight like those 2 then he can likely shut down the offense of Lopez and make it an awful, ugly, stinky type affair where he eeks it out or even does slightly more each round to win a dominant decision on the cards

Lopez best chance to win will be to use his athleticism and force the other guy to lead, which doesnt make for a great bout unless he lands major shots that are damaging

    We'll see

It's a match that interests me as some0ne who appreciates the intricacies of the more skilled practitioners of the sport but it's not a fight I'd break my neck to attend or recommend to fringe fans I know

REED Can Respect That and It's Not as If 'Fimo Has NO Chance of Winning; He's Easily THE Most Dangerous Man Shakur Will Have Stepped Into a Ring Against...

The True CHALLENGE For Shakur Is Finding BALANCE Between the De los Santos and Zepeda Fights...Shakur Could Very Well Get KO'ed if He DUMBS DOWN His Style as He Did vs Zepeda...And to Your Point, There'll Be Very Little CREDIT if He Runs to Victory, ala the De los Santos Bout...

It's an INTRIGUING Fight for Sure, But Based on 'Fimo's Past Failures w/Slick Fighters and the Fact 'Fimo Sr. is STILL the Chief 2nd, Shakur HAS to Be Favored, Strongly So...
